some people will say... 'i will pray for you' and that is the extent of what they do.. just say they will... others actually may have you on their list of people they pray for daily...
I actually don't 'time' my prayers or have a scheduled 'knee' time like some... I talk to God all day long.. off and on... it is different than a lot of Christians tho...
did you get the 2.5 hours and 3 hours randomly? or is there some denomination that has literal 'hour schedules' for prayer?

Hmmmm..."You spend three hours thanking god for everything you own and asking him to help you in all your problems and you finish your praying session with..."and save the soul of sinners too , amen".
Interesting that you know this about me, a total stranger. Truth is, if I offer to pray for someone, I actually do so, but I am not so crass as to tell piously tell them how long I did this - how rude!

Indeed a few Christians do behave very arrogantly. The Bible teaches us that the one rationale any people is stored is due to the fact of God's grace via our religion in Christ. That is, salvation is God's accomplishment and now not ours. * It says well works is what will get you to heaven... I disagree with you right here. God's grace via religion is what saves, now not works. * Well... Atheist do well works... Precisely the factor. Good works won't retailer. * So if there's a heaven, then they're going to be there consistent with the gospel of Matthew.... Not so. Take a more in-depth seem. People who suppose Jesus will likely be stored. * And final however now not least whilst did Jesus ever point out homosexuality? No, however Jesus didn't input the arena to deliver a dissertation on each and every possible sin, both (and He didn't point out fairly a quantity of matters that have been principally viewed sinful. * So why are Christians deciding on and picking out which of them they wish to suppose?? Why do they pass judgement on you men? It all is determined by what you're considering the fact that to be judging. Do well works retailer? No. Is homosexuality sinful? Yes. But, that is now not the top of Good News. Will "being homosexual" mechanically ship a man or woman to hell? No. Can any individual who's homosexual succeed in out in religion to Jesus for salvation and be stored now not due to the fact of orientation however without reference to it? Yes. Peace be with you.

Praying is not just about thanking God for personal possessions. Prayer is also about thanking God for even if we are sinners we thank God for forgiving us thanking God for loving us loving us enough for him to send his only son. Prayer is about hope, faith, and love. Having faith in God knowing he will always forgive you if you ask him. Loving God with all your heart and prasing him for the love he gives. Praying hoping that today will be the day of a non-belivers life will change. Will that day be today for you.

I usually try to reflect on the person for a period of time, raising them up to God, asking for His guidance and strength. There is no set time or percentage on my prayer time spent on anything in particular. The more something burdens my heart, more than likely, the more time I will reflect on it. Sometimes, I just say something like "God you know the burdens of my heart better than I could ever put into words. Please guide grant the Holy Spirit to guide me and strengthen me in the ways of your Son." And then I shut my mouth and reflect on God's majesty and grace.
One thing I never do, though, is lie when I tell someone I will pray for them or take my prayer time half-hearted.

He is my best friend, so we have an ongoing conversation. He brings to my mind who needs prayer and I obey by praying, Sometimes He wakes me when there is someone that needs prayer.
Don't you talk to your best friend or friends often?
Sometimes I will find peace in a certain situation and I know at that moment that God has answered that prayer. Not always the answer that I wanted, but I trust Him.

God commands us to pray unceasingly, so people such as yourself should constantly be in their prayers. Not a 2 hour pray specifically for you, but as a part of their prayers that gets equal time as everything else.

I can't and won't pray for God to save your soul, it is up to you. You are a big boy and can answer for yourself. God won't save your soul anyway. He's done all He can do to make it possible to be saved, the rest is in your hands. I may pray that your heart be softened so you at least have a chance.

I believe the majority of them just say that to sound nice, and act as a "good little christian" rather than actually take the time to pray for someone they don't even know and probably will never meet in the Real World.

No, it doesn't usually take that long. I say a quick prayer, something to the effect of "please Lord if it is your will, let your heart and presence be known to this person (name) and let your love enter into his/her and your will be done in his/her life. In Jesus Christ name I pray, amen."
