The Catechism of the Catholic Church on the vatican website
http://www.vatican.va/archive/catechism/ccc_toc.htm
This is the actual writings, the book on the stements of our beliefs, traditions and practices. I would suggest you go jere. some of the sites given I disagree with, they are an opinion or point of view of the Catechism teaching. See within the Catholic Church there is room for everyone. BUT it is important a Catholic read the Catechism teachings and discern for themselves were they stand THAT is what Catholicism is all about. you will find an array of Catholics who agree or disagree on an array of topics, but they are all still Catholic.
We take what Ireanus said to heart. . .
"Unity in the esstentials, diversity in the non esstentials, and charity in all things."

www.catholic.com is the best site I know it. It is a Catholic apologetics website, so their purpose is to answer any questions regarding Catholicism.
There is also www.scripturecatholic.com. This website provides scriptural evidence for Catholic beliefs and practices that are not so well received in other Christian denominations.
