Last Ent Wife:
Again - I just asked a question - How did you assume all of that from a Question - I did not know I had symbolism in my question - at least I did not mean to. I see you get offended very easy! Are you sure you are not the one with the closed mind. And don't worry, I will not mention you name again. I don't want you to get offended and start claiming you know how I think.

If GOD B4ME: Is this not a type of research? Most of the answers are BS - but you do get some good ones from time to time. I always thought if you want to know something then you ask - from asking I know where to go look.

Because to the people providing these answers, the "answer" should be obvious to you, because they feel it is obvious to them. The problem with asking people for their opinions on religious matters is that generally (I repeat: GENERALLY) their opinions have been stated to them by their religious text.
Also, for people whose primary identity is their religious identity, any question regarding their faith or any faith that doesn't immediately seem positive (or is, in fact, negative) can feel like a personal attack. In this case, people tend to respond with curt answers because they are offended.
ALSO, some people are just lazy and don't want to take the time to answer questions, so they want you to do the research yourself (in this case, I wonder why they're on Yahoo Answers at all - to ask questions? But then they're just as lazy as the people they're bashing. This is the most hypocritical case, and I've seen this happen all across Yahoo Answers).
ALSO ALSO, some people want to give input, but feel like an outside source is more authoritative or in-depth than they could be, so they direct you elsewhere for an answer.
FINALLY (I promise), some people are just trying to spam up points, so they give the shortest answer they can.
Personally, I find your questions thought-provoking and challenging for Christians, but I can see why they'd get offended. Perhaps in the future you could word them more kindly and delicately and you'd get better answers? As for your evolution + God discussion, most Jews would tell you you're on the mark - science and religion don't have to be enemies.

Telling you to go read that which you question is an answer.
It is hilarious to see how Last Ent Wife's response to your question reflect her point: she went and read your past history on answers and was able to quickly understand and prove your tendency to be hateful, close-minded and ignorant.
Now, where does that leave you? Go read the Bible, all your questions are answered there. So simple.

Yahoo answers has got to be one of the WORST places to look for answers to a question. It's just a never-ending tide of junk responses to stupid questions, one right after the other. Even if you do have a good question, the chances that some random person on yahoo will be able to address all the subtleties involved in your inquiry is next to zilch. So if you have a genuine question, get off your lazy butt and go do some actual RESEARCH.

OooOoooo, another question with my name in the title. Wow I'm up to like 6 or 7 now.
Because your question indicates your obvious lack of information regarding the topic AND your inherent preconceived negative disposition toward Christianity in general. If we sought to educate you alone, we would be denying the fact that you asked the question only to support your already close-minded and uninformed viewpoint. Had I or others posted a website that explained the Council of Nicea, you would dismiss it as "biased."
Do you see the paradoxical position you put us in?
So instead I suggested that you do some independent study on your own regarding the Council of Nicea, when it happened, and what went on there. Then you could not accuse me of feeding you biased information, and you could form your own opinion on the matter.
Hence, there you have it. Happy, pappy?
EDIT: Love and kisses to you darling, I am not offended in the least. Perhaps I did assume too much in your question, let me do a little research on you...be right back. Alright, I'm back. Let's take a look at some of your past questions:
QUOTE
Christians - why does believing in evolution make you an atheist or a devil worshiper?
Do White People truly think GOD will forgive them for the rape, ... Pt 3?
Do White People truly think GOD will forgive them for the rape, ... Pt 2? Do White People truly think GOD will forgive them for the rape, murder and theft to gain controll of the USA??
Part 2 - Why is the man Superior to the woman in Christinaty?
Christians -If you believe in the Adam and Eve story - How can you not believe that Men are Superior to woman?
Is Religion a survival mechanism? (Darwin - Survival of the fittest theory)?
If the Trinitys roots are pegen - Then why do most Christians believe in it?
If no one knows what Jesus looked like - Then why do they claim to see him on a grilled cheese sandwich?
Christians and Muslims - Are you Polytheist and do not realize it?
If worship of the Sun is so pagan - Then why do people go to chuch on SUNday?
Peanutbutterans, Is George Washington Carver you Messiah?
Why do Christians always use God to take peoples land??
END QUOTE
I stand by my answer. You have a negative attitude toward Christians and Christianity in general. You even admit in your profile that you hate people. I, on the other hand, do not hate anyone. Peace to you.

Lol...
To some point there, I agree.
The problem is that some people come here to post thing that are either statements they want to show, or questions that are not ment to get an answer for. But yeah, some really do want to know, that's why I try to answer the best I can.
Good luck with that :)
Peace.

If you want to be well informed about a subject you research it. If you do not believe the bible it is better if you actually have read it. That is all they are suggesting.

I get that a lot, too. Usually for question when I already knew what the reading said, and I want to know what people think.

The same reason fools tell you to go read when answering they want something from you but they don't want to bother with you.

Believe me, I spent a couple of days arguing with her by email. It's not worth the trouble.

because they dont know how to answer it, so instead of having the courage to say i dont know, they pretend to be smarter than that and thus say things like go read or answer in a negative way.
