You're out driving somewhere, and you notice that the car in front of you has one of those silver Jesus fish decals on the bumper. It has the crucifix in the eye (Christianity), but it also has little amphibian legs sticking out of it (evolution). What is your reaction, and why?

Wait, you mean it's possible to believe in God and science, AND not be afraid to speak it? Pigs must be flying!

Sounds like someone who'd be fun to talk to because they might have some very interesting views on politics, religion, science, philosophy, etc. Plus, it sounds like they wouldn't get all hateful about one side or another. Nothing ruins a good conversation like some idiot who can't stop spouting about how "All those Christians/Non-Christians are evil!!"

It means whoever is driving the car is a Christian who believes in Evolution.

There are Christians who believe in the literal 6 day creation model as told in Genesis and do not believe the theory of Evolution; they are called Young Earth Creationists.
There are Christians who believe in the creation model but think that a "day" as described in Genesis can mean several thousand years and they are not sure if Evolution is the tool that God used or not. They are called Old Earth Creationists.
And lastly there are Christians who believe that Genesis should be liberally translated and that perhaps God used Evolution as a tool to bring about humanity. This is called Theistic Evolution.

Hehe, are you sure it was a crucifix?

Assuming it was (and not what I was thinking), then it would mean that it's a Christian who accepts evolution perhaps

I have no idea what y'all would make of my decals (let's just say they involve 2 Ravens and a infamous fish)

I have seen same or similar. I have no control over other people places and things, nor do I want to or to have anyone try to control or judge me for my pentacle and hammer. So I just might give it a quick glance and go on with my life. I would be more upset by someone's bad driving habits! Have a great day & Blessed Be!

A Christian who believes in evolution. There are people who can hold their own in a scientific conversation who take very little of the bible literally and none of the creation myth (okay, maybe order). Come on, this isn't brain surgery we're talking about, is it? Is the Judeo-Christian creation myth really something all Christians want to die for?

I would probably have to tell my wife she was to close to the car in front of us, again, if I could see the little legs and the cross in its eye!

I would say, there goes somebody with their own set of beliefs, and leave them to it.
By all means, people, feel free to tear me apart, as you've already torn apart this poor hypothetical car driver.
