Some time back, I used the unwrapping of a chocolate Easter egg to illustrate the story of Jesus to a group of children, but can no longer remember how it went... I'm hoping someone out there may be able to help me as I'd love to use it to explain Easter to my kids.

I know one that involves a real egg and the Trinity, but not one with a chocolate egg. (The egg has a shell, a white part, and a yolk, but it's all still one egg. Just like there's God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, but they're all part of the same God)

And lighten up Bungyow

Jesus and God are good about taking something the devil has meant for bad and turning it to good. OK! The only story I can think of is the story of the egg represents the Father ,Son and Holy spirit. The egg having a shell being the God, The white of the egg, the holy spirit and the yoke as Jesus....God in 3 persons....but I like the water explanation better. Steam=Holy spirit...Water = GOD, then Jesus being and ice cube having changed to take human form..

Christ didn't unwrap Easter eggs.

First Easter is not a christian holiday we adopted it from the pagan religions and it is a fertility goddess ritual of chasing eggs, and referring to Bunny's multiplying because of rabid sex, the real Christan holiday is pass over, so teach your kids the truth and not the traditions of man about what Easter is really about!
