The Bible's message is meant to be shared. I am not a lawyer but it makes no sense to protect God's word with a copyright law. Who would you get written permission from , God? Just kidding, I believe you are free to share the word as you see fit. Churches do it every day!

How could you copywrite it when you are not the author? Are you trying to create a new version? Can you copy it...yes. Whenever doing so, it's best to cite the source of reference.
