In Christian tradition, Jesus hung out with loose women all the time.

I think the real question is why don't Christians think Hugh Hefner is god?

Hugh Hefner's business prosperity has nothing to do with God. You can be successful without God.

Hugh Hefner's success has nothing to do with any supernatural entity. He had a dream that was timely and profitable and he had the ability and luck to make it real. There was no Faustian deal or other nonsense. He created a product and people bought it. It's that simple.

I strongly suspect that people here who are passing so many negative judgements on him are hugely jealous. Perhaps they need to be reminded that according to their own religion, such things are not for them to judge. For all anyone can possibly know, God will welcome Hef with open arms and they'll spend their time talking about great Playmates of history.

Hue Hefner made himself prosperous, but do that mean that being prosperous is the answer to life? I don't think so.

Hugh made himself prosperous. Do not let this fool you though- the money that people make today is not what makes a man successful or great in the eyes of God. Hugh Hefner may appear rich- however being rich n God's eyes is much more important. Hugh will only be rich in this life, if he does not accept Christ. Satan is the one who controls his riches, not God.

God didn't make Hefner prosperous, we did. We made him wealthy by buying into what he is selling.

The only answer that I can give is what he has now may be all that he gets. Remember that life on earth is a tiny matter compared to life eternal with Christ. We are extremely more spiritual than we are carnal or fleshly. The spirit lives forever somewhere. Do not envy evil? Do not call evil good.

Who says God is responsible?

He doesn't.

Hue is obviously a very intelligent man concerning the ways of money.
Whoever loves riches, hates God. You can't have love for two masters. Either love the one and hate the other. But you can't serve two masters!
