I'm sure that the media doesn't tell you that thousands of people in Africa convert from Islam each day.

I converted from Islam mostly because Muhammad was a bad person (in my opinion) and what the Quran says. It looks like Muhammad only wanted to be famous so he created Islam.

I too, am a former Muslim, but not at all for the reasons you stated. My choice was a personal choice, not fueled by any religious disagreement I had with Islam. In fact, even as a non-Muslim, I believe many of the things preached in the Qur'an. I understand that your opinion of Muhammad is yours, but I still disagree with your opinion.

Wow, I am Muslim and I am surpised to hear you say this..I respect your position, but I am telling you that the Shayton is lieing to you and misleading you from Allah. Allah is Kind, Merciful, and the Koran is the Truth..Nobody becomes a prophet because they want to be "famous"--that's just downright crazy, and it makes me laugh to even hear you say that. Do you know how much the Prophets had to stryggle, and how much Muhammad fought and suffered? Muhammad was a nice person and kind and loving.

Anyhow--you better pray and ask Allah to remove the veils from your eyes and the hardness from your Heart before its too late. You know full well that we must die, and Judgment Day is coming.

But truly Allah Guides whom He pleases.

That is sad to hear, I wonder what circumstances you were exposed to to make you believe that, as a current muslim I agree with what I know of the Qura'n, I don't believe Muhammed to have been a bad person, most of what people say about him and Islam is usually in an attempt to criticise us and is usually taken out of context with no appreciation for the ways in which people lived at that time.

No, there are tons of people that come here on a regular basis claiming to be ex-Muslim. It's funny though because 99% of them don't have a clue about some pretty basic Islamic teachings, lol. But, that's how you weed out the phoneys. Have yet to meet a REAL ex-Muslim.

I don't think we will ever know the true number of people that convert. It's not something that can be freely talked about in some countries. I'm glad that you have the freedom to talk about your decision.

May God bless you.
