If Science can date the Earth or any part of the Universe or even come close, that would assume there was a created beginning, right?
Or, that maybe the Earth or the matter therein would have eternally existed.
in which case the dating of the Earth can not be determined, right?
No beating around the bush here, I believe God Is the Creator.
I just don't understand how Evolutionists would be able to explain dating the Earth and not being able to explain DNA and yet still think that somehow ALL OF THIS JUST HAPPENED.
Don't ask me how I know God is real because I could go on telling you how he has changed and effected my life. I have Faith in my God.
I don't however have faith in Evolution. But I am curious how one could explain these things and have faith in it.
I'm no expert but will reaserch any "Real, Adult-Like" answers given to better understand.
(no gabage answers please-you will not be paid attention)

Its so sad when rapers or molesters do what they ' do ' . You know what I mean? I have read stories about it like, the brother in law raping his cousin or something like that. I mean its so sad, so horrible, terrible. They should go to jail for the rest of there lifes. I know i kinda already posted one of these, but I just want everyone to know. I think they should die in jail, or stay in jail for the rest of there lifes. Its so mean. Or even dads.. doing it to there kids! How sad.. and then some die.. its just a terrible thing o think about and its not a good thing. Not at all. God didnt bring up this non-sense. He wanted to have a peace-full world, not with all these rapers and kidnappers. Who agrees?????? Who doesnt?

Do you think God would allow his word to be put to the world full of discrepencies.

Why is God saying wait to my prayers for unity, peace, the end of diseases? My prayers to feed the hungry, clothe the freezing homeless, help the drug addict overcome their addictions, help the prostitute gain self worth. Why does God say "no", or "wait" to my prayers that we can overcome our feeling of greed and hate?

Why wouldn't He say "yes" to any of these?

Even the christians that defends furiosly that believe they in their heart don´t believe, why i know that because if they truly believe in that lie they should be crying the whole day thinking in their families and friends that are not of the same religion that are going to be torture by the lovely Jesus in hell, who with a sound mind will think that Jesus will put an iron in the face of 16 years old girl eternally this is just one example, what happens is that they are scared of no telling the truth because they don´t want to look like atheist.

What is the correct etiquette for Passover? By that I mean we Christians wish each other "Happy Easter", but we would not say "Have a nice Good Friday". Is it correct to wish a Jewish person a "Happy Passover?" How does this work? Thanks.

I come from a very large family, and most churches around here have asked us not to come back to their church because of different reasons ( some of my sibs are adopted, it's "unGodly" to have this many kids, we raise our hands and dance when we worship), so lately we've just had church with our family. My dad shares a devotional and we all pray and my brother and i lead worship. we have a large basement and there are 6 teenagers and 3 preteens in my family and we gather downstairs with our friends sometimes and have prayer services and praise and worship. we asked our parents if we could start a youth group in our basement and invite kids from our neighborhood and school to come. they are OK with the idea. we'd prolly just pray, have praise and worship, and then take turns sharing devotionals. we're not going to have any youth pastors (that's ok, right?). do you have any advice on how to actually get started and how to run the services (how long it should be, etc.)?
