The two groups are the two sides of the same deluded cloth, that cloth being called "my way is the right way even though there is no proof either way that there is a God or isn't a God."

Uh, the only Bible-based religion is Christianity.
Atheists don't share any delusions with Christians... if an atheist is deluded, it's probably for some other reason than a god.

Calling it a delusion is a little judgemental.
My idea is that every religion seems like a cult.
what makes one better than another? they all get together and "chant" or sing songs and they all celebrate the coming or leaving of something on a given day... how is it any different whether it's "god" or "an alien spaceship" or an "asteroid"?
but that's just my thought. I'm not saying anything bad about anyone's religion, I just feel that I would like to have my own mind and my own ideas and not follow after what everyone else thinks JUST BECAUSE everyone else thinks it. Yep.

The only thing that ALL atheists have in common is that they don't believe in god.
If that is what you mean by delusion, then that's fine, but at the same time it could be said that god is the a delusion that all believers share.

I Believe that I am RIGHT, and so do all other religons...I guess you could call that a delusion. Other than that, I think that atheists are free from most deluions that the Bible-thumpers carry aroud with them.

Umm..you already asked this right same question, that's I spoke back, so right this is my right same answer. the only ingredient that one and all atheists have in basic is they don't have self belief in god. If that's what you advise via fantasy, then it particularly is great, yet on a similar time it must be mentioned that god is the a fantasy that one and all believers share.

I find it hard to believe that Christians and Atheists have anything in common. Which other bible based religions do you mean? Judaism and Islam have their own versions of the book. No others use the bible.

I think a delusion that all humans share, is the idea that someone else thinks we are smarter than they are. Even if its true, it doesn't mean much.

You are going to have a tough time convincing me that all atheists agree on any thing except that there isn't a god. And Christians don't agree with us on that. So none is possible.

Mashed potatoes are delicious
Atheist's are not certain of anything we just think there is no god since there is no evidence. We still allow the possibility of a creator. Not the Abrahamic creator but a deist god is possible.
