Why is God saying wait to my prayers for unity, peace, the end of diseases? My prayers to feed the hungry, clothe the freezing homeless, help the drug addict overcome their addictions, help the prostitute gain self worth. Why does God say "no", or "wait" to my prayers that we can overcome our feeling of greed and hate?

Why wouldn't He say "yes" to any of these?

Because sometimes He's saying go to people to feed the hungry or clothe the homeless. Are they doing it? His people are here and we are are His hands and feet in this world. He tells people not to be greedy and hate others but they don't listen.

Because all of these things were created by man and his "free will" that God gave him. There is a purpose for everything. It may seem hard to understand, but without sorrow, there would be no joy; without pain, there would be no healing; without war, there would be no peace. God can only be "God" if he has Godly things to do; do you understand that?
Also, the Bible clearly states the there will be no more peace until the coming of the Lord when all evil is destroyed.

Perhaps you are wasting your time praying. You might do a better job "doing", especially when it comes to feeding the hungry, clothing the homeless, and things to help others. James, the brother of Jesus, did not show his faith by praying...he showed it by DOING.
