Why is it that everyone says everything from the Bible will apply forever no matter what changes in our society and cultures, but on the other hand some thngs from there are not practiced anymore, even in the church. Such as woman staying silent during church, woman not teaching in a church and that if we didn't cover our heads at church we would be shaved bald, NT. I thought EVERYTHING was supposed to be followed forever. Why do some things apply and some don't?

People can add you as their "friend" because they need a self-esteem boost, and they can collect contacts like they're seashells. It seems to happen on R&S more than any other section.

For some people, high school never, ever ends.

Personally, I think it's pathetic that people come here looking for friendship. I'm sure that makes me a "horrible person" for thinking that, though.

Does it really feel your heart with joy to believe there's nothing more after this life?And to believe that after you die,you'll be nothing more than breafast,luch&dinner for the maggots that will feed on your decaying body?

Maybe it's just me,but that doesnt sound like a very good or pleasent belief.

Hi guys...have u tried using the ouija board..??
a few years back..me n my friend tried to communicate with spirits using ouija board...i think v did succeed...after that i felt intense pain all over my body ..i goy really tired for no reason n i slept for hours.....

n same happend the second time few days later..i got scared n...stopped tryin....has anyone else exp.. the same..???
im curios ?? y so much body pain...????

As a muslim myself i have to say that the koran is not divine in anyway. Its a very human book frozen in the 7th century desert of arabia and serves no purpose for our time. the only purpose it serves is as a guide to oppress women, kill non muslims and encourage muslims to commit all kinds of crime including paedophilia by emulating the prophet mohomed.

I'm catholic as my coworkers are but don't follow stupid rules such as no meat on Lent Fridays. Two Fridays ago, I had Marmalade Pork Chops and was given the 'evil eye' like nobody's business.

I had enough of this so I evened the score. I normally retrieve the take out on Fridays. My coworkers order Clam Chowder on Fridays so the night before I cut up 2 hamburgers in tiny little chunks. I stored them until I picked up the clam chowders. I then put these tiny pieces of hamburg in all their clam chowders.

As they were about half way through their clam chowders I asked "How are those clam chowders?". Most replied "delicious". I then stated "Good, because I placed small bits of hamburger in each one. Now you will all join me in H-E-L-*" They then realized I was telling the truth and knew the hamburg was real. Some even acted like they were going to regurgitate. Give me a break.

Now is this poetic justice or what? I'm so proud of myself - I'm still gleaming with satisfaction.
