I'm catholic as my coworkers are but don't follow stupid rules such as no meat on Lent Fridays. Two Fridays ago, I had Marmalade Pork Chops and was given the 'evil eye' like nobody's business.

I had enough of this so I evened the score. I normally retrieve the take out on Fridays. My coworkers order Clam Chowder on Fridays so the night before I cut up 2 hamburgers in tiny little chunks. I stored them until I picked up the clam chowders. I then put these tiny pieces of hamburg in all their clam chowders.

As they were about half way through their clam chowders I asked "How are those clam chowders?". Most replied "delicious". I then stated "Good, because I placed small bits of hamburger in each one. Now you will all join me in H-E-L-*" They then realized I was telling the truth and knew the hamburg was real. Some even acted like they were going to regurgitate. Give me a break.

Now is this poetic justice or what? I'm so proud of myself - I'm still gleaming with satisfaction.

You should spend a month or two in jail for tampering with other peoples' food, regardless of motives.

Adtually, what that is is simple contempt for others beliefs and shows you to be a hateful person. It's actually cause to be fired as it shows religious discrimination. It is basically the same thing as sexual harrassment; only religious.

It also shows that you are not really Catholic; you have ex-communicated yourself from the Church.

The "cute little trick" you pulled is nothing less than what the Nazi's did to the Jews when they fed them pork while they were starving.

By the way ... those who ate the tainted food you gave them have technically don NOTHING wrong, even by eating what you gave them.

So, here's what I'd do if I were you; First. stop calling yourself Catholic. If you have that much contempt for the faith, you simply don't belong there. Second; find another job. You've shown your coworkers that you are a person who cannot be trusted, that you have contempt for their beliefs, and that you don't care about them at all. Third, consider retaining legal counsel; You could rightly have charges brought against you for your little "joke".

How can you claim to be catholic if don't follow stupid rules. No one can force you not to eat meat on Friday, because it's your decision. But to be proud of your self for childish pranks. Hope the priest has you on your knees praying after confession. Oh yeah that's a stupid rule too.

Although I do not follow the silly proscriptions of any organized religion I find what you did to be criminal. It is a form of assault. That is no better than if you had placed drugs in their food. You should be ashamed. If this had happened in my business you would be looking for a new job right now.

They should have reported you to the company management, for tampering with another persons food and asked that you be fired, as a safety threat. I would have great difficulty working with you after doing that.

By unknowingly eating the meat they did nothing wrong.

Poetic justice? How so? All I see is someone being rude and breaking the strictures of their religion. Rather tastelessly too, if you ask me.

You're probably on your way to getting fired, by putting that in their food, you have knowingly and intentionaly violated their religious beliefs, and weather you believe in them or not, that is called malicious intent, and you can VERY easily be fired for it, have fun trying to get a new job.

I may not agree with Catholicism, but it is not right to cause others to do something they consider a sin for your own pleasure. they may have given disapproving looks when you had your Friday pork, but they did not read you the riot act or try to force you to obey the rules of your faith. so it was wrong for you to force them to sin. with Friends like you who needs enemies.

That probably wasn't the brightest thing to do. But age may be fleeting, but immaturity lasts forever....I don't blame them for being upset. But they shouldn't be busting your balls for what you eat.

Congratulations, you are as childish as your coworkers.

What would you like to be when you grow up? At your rate, you will never get there.
