Why is it that everyone says everything from the Bible will apply forever no matter what changes in our society and cultures, but on the other hand some thngs from there are not practiced anymore, even in the church. Such as woman staying silent during church, woman not teaching in a church and that if we didn't cover our heads at church we would be shaved bald, NT. I thought EVERYTHING was supposed to be followed forever. Why do some things apply and some don't?

Because even though many Christians claim to follow God and the Bible, they really are influenced by the world, and when women's hats went out of style, head coverings in the church coincidentally became "not necessary" any more. Some churches still do adhere to that practice though. Menonite, and Plymoth Brethren, and a few others.
Edit BTW For all those who say we are not under the law anymore, the teaching of women covering their heads is a New Testament teaching, not OT. 1 Corinthians 11.

Do you goto church on Sunday ...
If yes, read below ...
Jesus fulfilled the law. So exactly what did Jesus fulfill. If Jesus kept God's law, what part of the law is deemed absolute?
The weekly Sabbath! And annual Sabbaths! Not the resurrection. First observe the weekly Sabbath and annual Sabbath's, then the rest will be put into it's proper place.
The weekly Sabbath is not Sunday the first day of the week, rather it is the last day of the week and starts at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Not midnight to midnight under the current theme of thinking of time.
Those who lean unto there own understanding of scripture are leading others astray and blinded by their "pride!" But this has to occur for the Kingdom of God is coming to this earth and establish His way as the only way.
Pride is man's downfall. The End of the circle of man's self rule will be the beginning of Christ's Kingdom but that "pride" must be broken first!

If you want to truly know if God exists and what applies today there is a challene in the book of Mormon which is further revelation and the word of God.
It says he who reads and asks God in the name of Christ will get there answer whether this book be true or not.
That is the suriest answer that you will get on here.
We can say the bible is not true but how will we ever know if we dont read books that God puts right in front of your face and pray about them?
The spirit is the suriest answer.
Or you can choose to believe what you make up in your head with no basis beyond everyone in the world is not listening.
I testify that there is one true church on every continent with 14 million members that carries the true athority of christ and if you follow the book of Mormon challenge God will reveal the truth to you.

God doesn't change. People change.
Women covering their heads is an example in the flesh of a spiritual principle. The principle being that God is the head of Christ, Christ the head of man and man the head of woman. Everyone is under a spiritual covering except God. He is The Covering.
The shaved heads were a reference to a non Christian religion at the time that employed temple prostitutes. The prostitutes were known by their shaven heads.

To be short about it, there were parts of the law that would apply to the Israelites and the time and circumtances in which they lived then, which would not apply to us now. For example, we have much better methods of cooking now, and we understand bacteria and food poisoning, but they didn't, hence the laws of what meat not to eat...
This is just an example; I think Jesus summed it up best when he said, "the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath..." I believe this applies to the mosaic law in general, that it was for our benefit, but certain parts were either ceremonial and for the Israelites, or simply became irrelevant.

Some things were instructed to the Israelites via Moses...known as the Mosaic Law. This law had some strange things for them to follow, and some things we today consider normal as well. Jesus did away with this Law when he instructed his followers. So some things are no longer required.

Because they're hypocrites! The church continually moves the goalposts to suit itself. First being gay is universally condemned, then it's "ok as long as you don't act on it". There are a million other examples. The reason is that the church knows society is becoming much more tolerant and in order to continue putting bums on seats it has to adjust its policies to suit.

You will get many Jesus Fulfilled the law so we don't have to follow it answers...
Not quite sure what fulfilled the law means. I think it is just rhetoric that justifies the belief in OT stories.
