I recently had a conversation with a person on the probability of Time Travel. He said something odd to me, “God will not allow time travel to happen.” It seemed to me that he was only cornered in the debate and said that, but I’m intrigued. What is the various religious viewpoints on the issue of Time Travel? Not whether Time Travel is possible, the religious viewpoint on the Ethics and the religious significance.

Or how did you find your faith and belief in GOD.

If you DO NOT believe in GOD did you come to that conclusion on your own? or did someone persuade you to believe that way?

I kid you not, this is an answer to how did Noah get polar bears on the ark.

"There were not poles. The earth is much different than before the flood. "

What geological proof is there that there were no poles at that time?

If all the labels were removed from your spirituality, and all you could do was speak of your life from your deepest, innermost thoughts and feelings...What would you say?

I would say "Compassion for others has the potential to heal the world."

Your turn...

There is a prophetic statements in Sahih Muslim about prophet Muhammad who sent his companions to raid a tribe. The companions raided the tribe and captured many women.

The statement tells that the companions refused to have SEX with those enslaved women because those women were married, but prophet Muhammed gave them the permission to HAVE SEX with those women (even if they were already married).

The statement continues and tells that god PRAISED what prophet Muhammad and those companions did and revealed a Quranic verse for prophet Muhammed that says:

"You can not have sex with married women unless they are your property (slaves)" [Al Nisa'a 4:24]

Did Noah have a detour by the poles to pick them up, or did the polar bears swim to the Middle East to load up?

If the polar bears could swim from the polar regions to the Middle East, why did they need to get on the ark at all?

Ezekiel 29:20
I have given him [Nebuchadnezzar] the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he has laboured, because they worked for me, says the Lord God

The Bible says that Nebuchadnezzar counqurered Egypt. However, history doesn't mention this. The conquer of a land like Egypt should have been documented, it's not that eveyr day someone comes to Egypt:'Hey, let's conquer this land!'.

My current boyfriend is several years older than I am and is divorced. He was married once when he was about my age (we have a 13 year age difference) and had a child. After about a year, he got a divorce from his first wife. He later had another child with a different woman whom he lived with for 5 years. They are now separated as well. Warning signs aside, will the Catholic Church refuse to marry us in the Church? Is annulment the only option for him? If so, will he need his ex-wife's consent to obtain an annulment? Also, is an annulment obtained through the Church a legally binding agreement? What ramifications will it carry?

Allah and God are the same!!! Allah is the the Arabic word for God. So don't bash Allah because there is no such thing as a Muslim God; Allah is universal.

If not, doesn't that make him an atheist?

And according to Judeo/Christian mythology, aren't we created in God's image?

That means we should all be atheists, right?
