do you tell god "it is that one guy with the weird avatar, you know" and expect him to figure it out? Whatever you do, it is not working.

I pray for your parents - it's like the old joke - when he was born he was so ugly the doctor didn't slap him he slapped his mother. Don't worry bad times will come and you'll get a chance to find God then since there is no reasoning with you and you're too programmed to just look around you and see that this didn't get here by accident we'll pray for bad times to hit you (I will anyway) so that you might do a heart to heart with God.

I'll put you on my prayer list.

When I pray for someone who does not believe in God or have a relationship with Christ- even if I do not know them- God does, and that is what is the most important. God knows all - He knows every person- you know why? He created them and desires all to come to know Him through His Son. God knows the people we pray for, more than we do- I pray for those who I never see- because sees all-

I'm so scatterbrained that when I'm praying for people in my Sunday school class (outside of class during the week) that I usually say "And uhhm the blonde girl with the hair cut, not the shoulder length one, the chin length bob, be with her as she looks for a new job. Or was it the other blonde who was looking for a job . . . You know the one I'm talking about right?"

But for what it's worth, it did work. Whichever blonde it was who was looking for a new job got one.

I ask God to be with each of you. I may not know all of you by name, but I usually pray for you guys as soon as I see you online.
I don't ask God to change your heart. Only YOU can do that. However, I do ask God to reveal Himself to you, and to give me wisdom so I can help you guys, however I can.
That's why I'm on here answering questions. Obviously, you guys wouldn't be here if you weren't looking for answers. I know that sounds horrible, but it's true. Why ARE atheists here, are they trying to "convert" people? And if they are here to convert people, WHY? Why would they want to destroy someone's happiness? I'm not being facetious, I really do want to know.
But I wonder sometimes...when I see these questions from atheists...if they really ARE looking for answer, and not just trying to proselytize. I give you guys the benefit of the doubt, and I ask God to help ALL of the Christians here to answer you guys' questions, with love, kindness, wisdom, and patience. I ask Him to open you guys' eyes and soften your heart so you open IT too.
It takes time. But I believe that my faith (and the faith of ALL Christians) can move mountains. I believe that God WILL touch you, and each atheist and agnostic on here. But only if you let Him.

I was where you guys are, not too long ago. I do respect every last one of you.

God already knows who you are and what you need. And He does things His way and in His time.

I just pray, and He does the rest in the way that He sees fit.

*snicker* I've often wondered the same thing when Christians claim they are praying for people they encounter online. I rarely think any of them actually do it, I think for the most part people who make such declarations are merely doing it as an insult, a way of dismissing you.

I don't need to know a person to pray for them. God knows them, and if I pray for this one or that one, or all of them in general, He knows who I'm talking about.

You can't just always expect something to happen. Maybe things are happening or are prolong to happen you just need to give time or open your eyes to see it.

Stop shutting out the world without experiencing it first.
