I won't have to. I will be in Heaven with God. Those left behind will have to read the Bible and pray for understanding.

Well if it happened, I'd most likely be assumed into Heaven with the rest of them.
Lets not forget about the Grace via faith in Christian truths. Its the view that when other religions have the same basic idea/theory/truth that they are actually worshipping YHVH of the Judeo-Christian faith.
I know I'd be a little confused as to the heck happened, but whatever.
But that is only the IF, do I believe in Christianity or follow it? No.

Easy: Think I was having a bad trip or the mass disappearance was a result of alien abductions.
And yeah, I'd probably do something similar to what Acid Zebra said. I'd be happy all the fundies are gone, we'd finally have Earth to ourselves and that would be a cause for celebration!

Well, there have been groups all throughtout time waiting for such an event and it still hasn't happened, so I'm not too worried about it. For arguments sake, saying it did happen, I would assume that YHWH was evil, then, and try to work with nature, since it obviously doesn't have anything to do with single males creating things to suffer.

Given that ALL will be with God, there really won't be anyone left who would have to explain the rapture to anyone, will there?
All are saved whether they believe or not.

OK, barring the fact that rapture is rejected by most christians save for some american subsects, I would personally rejoice and hold a big *** party in your ex-house with all your ex-stuff!

IF the Heavens opened up, and angels descended, and everything happens just like it's described in the Bible, then I'll believe.
You go ahead and call me if that starts to happen...
(And your question is really just another re-hashing of Pascals Wager.)

That's right up there with, "If Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse hijacked a spaceship and blew up the White House, how would you explain what happened?"
I would roll over, turn off the alarm clock and vow never to eat pepperoni pizza and burritos at the same time again.

I'll play.. IF the rapture took place today, I wouldn't justify it. I'm still not going to worship your god on moral grounds.
If I can be more moral than your tantrum-throwing, psychopathic killer god, then he doesn't deserve my worship.

Nothing to explain as it is clearly not happening and apparently 2000 years late.

I believe it just won't happen. At least you are still considerate enough to put the big IF in your question.
Religions and god are created by people and a god who is all powerful and all benevolent does not exist.
