He was quoted as having embraced Islam for quite sometime but now he has been found to accept it openly.....What did compell him to do so?he has shifted to a Muslim Country also!!!

Actually, I'm not sure if he has publicly stated that he did convert to Islam. I live in Bahrain which is where he has been living for the past year and rumors are flying that he funded the building of a mosque here and is busy with lots of Islamic societies etc. I do know that he has music out based on nasheed which is arabic for religious type songs based on Islam. I heard him sing those, pretty good stuff. He sings them in english btw.

Whatever Michael does is his business. Michael hasn't really converted yet,but he is thinking about it. His brother Jermaine is persuading him and has even given him books about the Islam religion. Michael wants to convert to the Islam religion to find inner peace and strengh. I think that Michael should do whatever he wants as long as he is happy and satisfied. Is his life and will only affect him and nobody else.

Guys,you have the misconceptions about Islam..Islam does not allow any kind of sexual activities..be it homo,hetereo,masturbation etc.Only the married couple can do it..
We are happy to welcome him to Islam..although everybody know what he did in the past..hopefully he will be a good and faithful Muslim..

A colleague of mine was doing extensive research on Islam, one day she read aloud some sentences off her printouts. I am not sure whether it was religious teaching or cultural tradition, but according to the article, "penetrating" under age male was acceptable although homosexuality was unacceptable.
I guess MJ figured that he would not have to be in court for child molestation charges in the Middle East.
