My personal relationship with God is more important than participation in organized ritualistic dogmatic events.

Isn't spirituality a personal manifestation of beliefs and moral values.

I don't want to convince you, mate. You're 100% correct already.

NO ONE can convince or Prove to you that Jesus or mohammed were divine.
They ARE NOT divine!

You are correct = organized religion is a farce.

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

Here's how you can be better than organized religion:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

It doesnt matter what anybody tells you, if you do not want to be convinced, you wont be.

All I can tell you is that I KNOW God, through Jesus Christ. I KNOW that when I decided it was time to repent and ask Jesus to be my Saviour, He did. Before I got saved, I was a mess.

I was a slave to cigarettes. I was a lesbian. I was deeply unhappy and would get depressed often. I was into the occult and even taught it.

When I got saved, I went for deliverance. Jesus set me free from all the things that bound me. I am a different person, just as He promised in His word that I would be.

My friend, Jesus is real. I have a personal relationship with Him and I honestly do not know how I lived life without Him for so long. I love Him deeply.

I agree with you. While I wouldn't be as harsh as calling it a farce, I still don't think it is the truth. Religion is only here for 2 reasons, 1) To explain what we don't know (all that's really left is the fear of "nothing" there when we die). Last I checked, there was "nothing" there before I was born, right?
2) Religion is a decent concept to help us be better people and kind to each other. Though, while I think it is a good idea to be nice to others, I don't buy into any of the other parts of religion.

Be nice to others, just because it is better than being a jerk I guess. As for God creating the heaven and earth thing...? I can't buy that one.

Jesus died and then on the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the prophesies. Jesus fulfilled many prophesies. He is the Messiah prophesied in the old testament. His birthday is the one day that ALL people of the world recognize as the reference point of all the days. History refers to B.C. as before Christ and A.D. as after the birth of Christ or Anno Domini which means in Latin: "The year of our Lord". You also recognize 2007 right? So you also recognize Jesus as the reference point of history because He is Divine. He healed the sick. He cured the lepers, He made the blind see. He made the dead rise from the dead. He rose from the dead. No one can do this except God. He changed the water into wine. He fed the thousands with two pieces of bread and some pieces of fish. He appeared to Sister Faustina who is now declared a saint. He enabled Mother Teresa to take care of the sick and the poorest of the poor. Many people leave their homes to proclaim He is God. He must be God. Too many people can't be wrong. They believe because they know Jesus is God. Sincerely in Jesus Christ.

I agree.. Religion is a man made institution and in some cases it has become a business .

Spirituality comes from the heart. Being spiritual means you have a personal relationship with God.

Jesus rose from the grave. If this was not so the Jewish and/or Roman leaders would have shown the body to the people. These same leaders put Roman soldiers in front of the grave. These soldiers would be put to death for failing their duty. No body was EVER found. The apostles, who were demoralised and denying Jesus during his trail were suddenly turned into strong and unwavering preachers of his word. Something happened to them. James the brother of Jesus, tried to prevent his ministry while Jesus lived, but after his death James became a follower of Jesus and called him Lord. Paul persecuted the early church and was responsible for many Christian deaths, he was suddenly converted and became one of the greatest apostles.

All these men died horrible deaths for the gospel. A man might die for something he believes to be true, but not many will die for something they know to be false.

There is a lot of extra-biblical mentions of Jesus and his ministry. Historians agree Jesus was a living person. There is evidence that he rose as he said. He is, without exception, the most influential religious teacher in our history. He said himself that he was God. "I am".

Actually none of them are divine, just prophets of God with a clear and impressive message from God to proclaim to their people. If you think that religion is a farce then nothing will convince you. God doesnt need you....but you need God.

If you really want to know if the word of God is true it is a PROMISE in the book of Mormon that if you read it and ask God in the name of Christ if these things are true he will manifest it to you.

That is the best deal you will ever find.

No one can prove anything to you on here except God. God expects you to do a little reading and have a little faith intially.

I promise if you this he will not let you down.

Good luck and God bless

This may surprise you but I am a full-fledged Christian, born again, all that and I hate organized religion at LEAST as much as you. Why?
Well, religion is MAN'S way of trying to get to God. But you see, God already did 99% of the work for us. He sent His one and only Son to die for us to pay for our sins (God said that SOMEONE had to pay for the sins with Blood) and so following Jesus and giving your heart to Him and having a personal relationship with Him is NOT religion. Because God reached out to us first, now all we have to do is take His hand. See?
