healing is a gift from God.no one has the healing touch except somebody with dat gift. the moment u receive Christ as ur personal Lord & saviour, u get to receive these divers gifts also.some people have a little measure of these gifts while some have a great measure and do specialize in them. Not forgetting that there are some who are not born again but they have the healing touch. for those i'll say some are born with it as a talent,some were once born again & still have it, because the gifts of God are unrepentable,some get it from the devil himself because the Bible tells us that satan(the devil) also has his powers,to make people believe in him or so to make them think that it is God who is healing them, while in actual fact it is the devil using his powers to heal. Remember, he was once a child of God, so he has these gifts or powers. About how it works, some people can just lay their hands on u and u get healed.some will pray for u maybe being in the same place with u or just in a place distant from u, and the power of God will heal u, because His word is quick & powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit ,and of the joints and marrow, and is a dicerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. so it doesn't matter where u are,the healing power will reach u. I was once prayed for by one lady in 2004 in relation to asthma problems.she was in America & i was in Botswana,praying over a telephone line & i got healed!

Some people have the "gift" of healing. You won't find them on a television show asking people to send in money. The people who have this gift do not have any power of their own. They cannot decide to heal a person just because they want to. God uses this gift in most cases to confirm the gospel in places where the Christian faith has not been established already although there are exceptions because God does whatever He wants to do whenever He chooses to do it.

If you are seeking God's healing power then you should do so in prayer and ask the elders of a Bible teaching, Christ honoring, Spirit led church to pray for you. Perhaps God might guide you to a person to whom He has given the gift of healing and if He does then one could assume that He will give that person power to heal you. But like I said, there is no one who can just cruise around and heal another person with some innate healing power of their own.

The Apostle Paul performed many miraculous signs of healing and yet he told Timothy to drink a little wine for his often infirmities and wrote about how God was merciful in sparing the life of Epaphroditus when he was sick and almost died.

Acts 19:11 And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.

1 Timothy 5:23 (No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)

No man has the healing touch. This is the working of the Holy Ghost. "And these signs shall follow those who believe..." It's easy to be skeptical since there are those who fake at it for monetary gain. But the gift of healing is real. I know because God has used me in this way many times before.

If they're on tv, that's a good sign that they don't.
The Bible says we each have spiritual gifts and so I think it is rare that a preacher would also have the gift of healing. We are told to bring our afflictions to the elders of the church so that they can annoint us with oil and pray over us.

i am a christian and i don't really believe in that stuff---to me it is just a ploy to get some weaker folk to believe and also take others money for your own benefit

think the movie leap of faith here---oh, and a true christian preacher/minister is not wealthy---the bible states that should not be and should live a normal life of moderation and worship---not wealth

all those "healing touchers" are scammers and are very wealthy cause they are stealing money from the weak minded and hearted

God can heal through prayer ...But no man has the power ( from above ) to touch and heal. If he does have it, it is power from Satan to deceive the people out there.
