Does anybody still watch scooby doo?

“Let it be said right away: the massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks” http://www.nalanda.nitc.ac.in/resources/english/etext-project/history/gautier/chapter4.html

The worlds foremost historians on this era (Gautier and Durant), well before 911, wrote that the Arab Muslim invasions of India was the greatest genocide in all human history. So why do so few westerners know this?

First, ethnocentric historical education is always an issue no matter what country. WW2 is well know because America was involved.

The second reason is a little more pernious. You see, Americans are taught world history, but when it comes to Islam, there has always been the threat of represile.

No one dared bad mouth the mafia in public during the 50's. Islam has had this type reputation since the earliest Islamic invasions.

Can someone tell me why this is an opposed "Abomination?" And please, don't just say the Bible; the bible says lots of things [Like signing contracts] are wrong, and many bad things [killing someone for small reasons] are good.

Thanks

Sorry about the period in the word, but Yahoo thinks it's a bad word.

First off, don't bash me! Don't make me feel stupid by asking this!

Second off, I'm looking for more opinions than just mine for a presentation. In my opinion, He is. If you disagree with me, explain yourself. Thanks.

So why didn't he create a perfect free race that would not fall for Satan, and also loved him out of the bottom of their hearts?

As opposed to our examples of "free will."

To be honest, I am not afraid of dying at all. Not that I am certain there is a God or Not. I just don't fear dying. I'm actually kind of optimistic. I don't see a reason to be afraid or sad. I mean it's part of life. If I die right now at least I will get to know if there is a God or not. Does anyone else see life and death this way? I actually don't mind if I die right now.

I found, through several sites, that the Roman Catholic Church is the church for Christians. I look up "Roman Catholics" and find "Christianity" link all over the place. My friends said they're the same, and then my teacher says they're not. I'm wondering if I might be part Catholic or not....

If you do I am afraid you have been misguided, open your bible and read. To start off go to I Timothy 4:1-3 " NOW THE Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." So forbidding to marry is speaking lies and doctrines of devil's. Better yet lets see what God says, I know its all inspired by God but you know what I mean. Genesis 2:18 "And the LORD God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him." You know the rest, so therefore rejecting to marry is going against God's word. Yes you may not have found the God chosen woman priest, but you can't tell me that there was never a rejection in certain cases.

They left England to escape state religion, to have the freedom to practice their own religion.

But, in essence, weren't they saying; "We don't want the King to dictate to our followers how they have to live... because that's OUR job."

I mean really, they wanted the freedom to practice one of the most oppressive forms of Christianity ever conceieved. Isn't there a certain amount of absurdity to this?

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag. and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trust, always hopes, and always remains strong.

If so, isn't the move from monotheism to atheism an additional improvement? It's just keeping up the same trend of subtracting gods....
