I do see what you are saying - and we should not be afraid to die. I think growing old is a preparation for passing into final rest that's well deserved. I want to be able to live a full life-and after that, well, nature takes its course. We're here though - alive and breathing - might as well make the most of it.

There are two types of people; those who cling to religion and a belief in god because they are afraid of death, and those who accept their fate. It is good to be able to accept death, because then you can focus on your life as it is now and not worry about it. I personally feel the same way sometimes, not that I look forward to dying. Don't become too close to death though: if you start thinking that you want to die just to see what happens afterwards, this is abnormal and you'll need to see a psychologist.

It varies. I go from being afraid of death to completely unconcerned. Death will happen regardless so it is not technically rational to fear it. Death is probably inevitable for all forms of life in our universe. I'm less fearful if I think of death as the time before a human being was born, because it is the same non-existent state.
I do not fear a god or an afterlife. My fear of death comes from wanting to hold onto life. One human lifetime is the blink of an eye on the cosmic time scale, which stretches for billions of years. There are tons of things that I want to do and enjoy, plus books I want to read. But I do not have the time to do everything.

i do mind dying...and while it is the end of the road (being born has as a contractual obligation for a meeting with the Grim Reaper) we all gotta face, I personally would like to push it back as far as possible.
I like this character I'm playing now, and really don't want to roll up a new one too soon, even tho they did Nerf the Mages in the last update...*sigh*

I don't encourage anyone to view death that way. Because after you die it will be too late to find out if there is a God or not.

The philosopher Thales taught that there is no difference between life and death. When asked why then did he not die, Thales responded, "because it makes no difference."

You should live and not be afraid of death...
Their is a REASON and PURPOSE God made YOU on this earth. He made you for his glory and to worship him in ALL that we do. He also made you to fufill the exaple of his Word.
