I do not know about sheer faith, but I do have absolute faith in God and Jesus.

Yes, it is possible to have faith in something supernatural. Billions of people do. But that does not make it real.
Imagine the millions of children who used to believe in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. Same issue. Unfortunately, many adults are still gullible.
Science can tap the reality from things we can't see, like Infrared light. Isn't it more grand to believe in a galaxy with 400 billion stars than an angry man in the sky?

If you believe something without any facts at all, then it is a blind faith.
However, the Christian faith is not a blind faith, as it is based on facts. These facts give us an assurance as to the reason for our faith. That does not mean we know everything or even that we can know everything. Instead, it mean that what we do know leads us to the conclusions we have concerning God and the nature of our relationship to Him.

Is it possible to have blind faith in the supernatural? Absolutely. Is there any good reason to do so? Not as far as I know.

Oh yes!
That's why people buy titles to bridges.
I've got some leases on toll booths on a few bridges. Some real active ones, too!
I'm looking for a few faith-based individuals to buy them. Are you in the market?

Only if that supernatural thing is a part of you, otherwise you never know if your faith is justified

Yes to have an open mind is very healthy
We can not see air but we are told it is there and we breath it in : )
You don't have to see to believe however you can sense the presence and just know : )
Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true
Love & Blessings

You can have faith in anything you choose to.
That won't make it true, however.

For those who have faith no explanation is necessary for those who don`t no explanation will do.
