I am the real Jedi.

My freaking account got deleted, and so did my mail..,I know, the will of God obviously...

How do I get my information back? My email got deleted with my account and I need that email address. It would be a lot of work to rebuild it, considering I have friends from diff. places I have moved from.

Can I get my account, or at least my email, back?

Its easy to say, "I'm a ____" ... if someone examined your life, would it be a good reflection of the beliefs that you claim?

I'm not talking about living a perfect life -- because none of us do -- but in general.

Praise be to Allah.

You guys believe that God didn't write the bible but he divinely inspired the people who wrote it.

So the inspiration was put inside the writer and he expressed that in his own words.

Fine, What possiblity could two writers have the same identical words to express a nearly complete chapter?

Read Isaiah 37

Read 2 Kings 19

Isn't that weird?

it seem that divorce affect the children , and bring sadness and a gloom and shadow of a life of dissapointment , to the poor child that see his parents not together anymore and something inside the child never heals from this hurt....in my opinion there is no worst hurt in the human perspective than what divorce does to Children... sadest thing is how tramatic divorce affect the llittle children.. i hope God can find mercy for those who have divorced by selffish motives on either part...

Why would a Christian say their biggest fear is death? Wouldn't that be the best thing because they know they will instantly go to heaven?

Shouldn't their answer be burning in hell for all eternity?

Also, rather than saying their biggest fear is suffering, not becoming famous, shouldn't they say that their biggest fear is not serving God enough because they would'nt go to heaven?

Is there some doubt there? If so, shouldn't their worse fear be there isn't a heaven?

I mean they don't pray and you really can't do anything religious and if something religious does happen no one is forcing you to do it. The study of the bible should be in public schools because if you think about it shouldn't there be some mention in school of the most published book in history. The bible has had an impact in history and society, so of course it should be in public schools.

"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. " Matthew 27:51-53

This is what "happened" after Jesus death on the cross. It is not in any other New Testament book or recorded anywhere in history. Im sure many people would have written about it. Things would be crazy with a bunch of undead holy men running around.
If it really did happen, who is to say the person the Apostles and Jesus family ran into 3 days later was not one of these zombie guys? Sure would explain why his followers and even his own mother did not recognize him.

So can we discredit the book of Matthew now? If its writer (we still don't know for sure because we don't have ANY orginal copies of the New Testament) got this wrong, is it reliable?

Forgive me for saying it wrong, my wife corrected me. What I meant was, yes he changed it into wine but not the wine we know it as today. It was not alcoholic wine, Kosher wine was used by jews and it is simply grape juice.

Pan Am...He makes the going great.
General Electric...He lights your path.
Bayer Aspirin...He works wonders.
Hallmark Cards...He cares to send the very best.
Tide...He gets the stains out that others leave behind.

You'd think that this kind of selfish, humanist, man-centered attitude would have long since been squashed in favor of the real Christianity of putting God in the driver's seat, not us. We're supposed to be more educated in today's world, and yet we cling to the ability to put God under our thumb. Why? Is free will so important that we have to knock the Almighty down a notch in order to give ourselves the ability to authorize Jesus into our hearts? I just don't see how this theology could have ever stuck. Please tell me. And come back for my comments.

Nobel prize winning mathematicians do not accept the odds that it could have "Just happened", Comparing the chances that life "just happened" to an explosion in a print factory producing an un-abridged dictionary of the English language. Around 800,000 words, with definitions, pronunciation, alternative meaningetc.---Fat Chance!
Biologists see the complexity of organisms as not possible to have happened by chance.
Carbon 14 datings are used "Selectively" at best.
"Uniformitarian" rock strata are turned upsde down or even missing altogther, or even shuffled.
Back up the speed of the earth's decrease in speed and you'll find a two to four-hour day, at only 200,000,000 years. Oops!
The hyperbolic fall in the earth's magnetism would make the cosmic ray intensity in times past far less than acknowledged. And yet we, who maintain a scientific "show me some real" -not theoretical- "evedence" are hooted down as real yo-yo's and "un-scientific".

1914, 1915, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1975 (MAJOR) and 1994, were all dates that the Watchtower Society (WTS) and its members predicted the world would end. These dates were significant, as many unsuspecting members sold their homes, dropped out of college and didn' t have children, because they thought the end was coming. This information, JWs say, were given to them directly from GOD. This is "The Truth" they say. But Armadgeddon never happened. So, these are false prophesies (which is much different from simply interpretating the Bible differently).

The WTS says: THIS INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO THEM DIRECTLY FROM GOD. THEY SAY, THAT THE WTS IS GOD'S ONLY CHANNEL TO PUBLISH TRUTH!

So, did GOD lie about these dates??? Did God change his mind? Which is it???

God's word is PERFECT. He warns us of false prophets. Why should this be any different???

What is the purpose of the test, of a false Prophet, if not to identify a false Prophet when what they predict DOESN'T HAPPEN?
