Because, if taken correctly, it would be glorious. Sadly, there are too few true Christians to make the statement anything more than a petty buzzword that sounds nifty.

WWJD is good advice because Jesus was without sin. Thus WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) is in a nutshell telling you to make the choice that's right. In other words it's like a religious Jimminy Cricket (no idea how to spell his name).

Well the things they talk about what Jesus did in the Bible where good things so basically they're saying instead of doing bad things do what Jesus did in certain situations like when he says 'turn the other cheek" naturally we would hit the person back, but by turning the other cheek may prevent fighting, stabbing or shooting

It means "Stop and think on what Jesus would do in this situation." Meaning, when you're going to lose control or do something you know is wrong, stop and re-evaluate your path. In the bible, Jesus walked among the sinners as a friend. He was kind to all and helped those in need. That is what it means, to help others and not let anger and greed and other negative emotions control you.

Well, until today I thought it was good advice. I thought it meant to be patient, loving, understanding and care for others. According to almost all of the christians that answered my last few questions I was wrong. So if I agreed with them it wouldn't be good advice.

It isn't. Besides, wasn't he supposed to have some powers that normal people don't have - so what if your neighbor was a leper - WWJD? He'd touch and heal them, can you do that? No.

Yes, but He also became God afterwards, plus got to freak out all his buddies. Pretty cool pay-off.
On second thought, I just read the "leper" comment. In cases like this one, it's best to avoid asking your self "WWJD?". Your leper neighbour may file a lawsuit against you. Not cool.

The whole point of being a Christian is to be Christ-like. It is also a blessing to be persecuted. Simple question, simple answer.

what does that have to do with it? What would Jesus do is great advice, if you take it and use it. And if you don't, well, it is like any other good advice, not helpful.
