Be Not Drunk With Wine
Eph 5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, (NKJ)
The word Juice is not in the bible Wine in the bible was grape juice. When the grape juice got old it would become fermented. The teaching of the bible is drink all the new wine you want to drink (that is drink all the grape Juice you want to drink) but when it is fermented The bible teaches us to stay away from it. The bible says don’t even look at it.
Isa 65:8…, As the new wine is found in the cluster, …
Here grape juice is called wine while it is still in the grape. Because the same word is used for wine and grape juice some people have been confused about what the bible says.

Nonsense.
First of all, kosher wine is alcoholic. In fact, some of the more famous (or infamous) kosher wines are more alcoholic than normal wine because they are fortified (with more alcohol).
Second, if you leave grape juice out of the refrigerator, it will ferment and turn alcoholic. Since there was a noted lack of refrigeration in 1st century Israel, grape juice was not known. The fruit of the vine was sold after it had been made into wine.
There are plenty of references in the bible that talk of wine in association with the effects of alcohol and no references which speak of grape juice as distinct from wine.

You are wrong. Kosher wine Was and still is alcoholic. People drank wine in those days because they could not find pure water to drink..There would have been no point in drinking nonalcoholic wine. And without refrigeration or pasteurization there was no way to keep grape juice from turning into wine.

Tell me, how long do you believe grape juice would last in the desert with no refridgeration? And why wold Kosher wine today be alcoholic if it wasn't back then? This idea of non-alcoholic wine in the bible is complete nonsense. By the way, "strong-drink" is much like our beer of today.

That is so not true. Jesus changed it into actually alcoholic wine. Jesus never said that wine was bad anyway, neither does the entire Bible. The only thing that is wrong with respects to alcohol is being drunk.

Okay zero evidence of this, for one you could not store this unfermented wine for any period of time in that sort of environment. For another there is no prohibition of Alcohol in Jewish culture that I know of,and he was a Jew. Just because some modern Christians want to take a scripture or two about drunkenness so far out of context as to sound ridiculous is no excuse to just start making stuff up out of whole cloth.

it was alcohol. the host put out the expensive wine first, when the people had their fill and could no longer tell the difference he put out the cheaper wine.
you can't drink expensive grape juice and then wait a little while to put out a cheaper grape juice thinking that no one could tell the difference.
why can't people accept that drinking wine was done in the bible-jesus himself drank wine, if you don't like alcohol don't drink but the bible does not expressly condemn alcohol.

When you make wine , it is not automatically wine ..like poof ! it's wine , it needs to go through the fermentation process. It was like grape juice .There was strong drink back then after the fermentation. Jesus would not condone social drinking ,they used it for medicinal purposes at times.

I would say that is inaccurate because the guests said they usually saved the poor wine for last as the guests would be drunk and not notice the drop in quality yet the wine Jesus created was finer than the first and it brought honor to the host. Read the whole story and decide for yourself.

This is a silly argument. The wine the Jews drank included alcohol or else there was no reason for the admonition, "Do not be drunk with wine . . ." If there was no possibility of getting drunk, then there was no need for this command.
