Praise be to Allah.
You guys believe that God didn't write the bible but he divinely inspired the people who wrote it.
So the inspiration was put inside the writer and he expressed that in his own words.
Fine, What possiblity could two writers have the same identical words to express a nearly complete chapter?
Read Isaiah 37

Read 2 Kings 19

Isn't that weird?

PragmaticMan:Do you know that the verse you are talking about is one of the greatest Miracle's of the Qur'aan and I'm not going to waste my time and wxplain it to you as you already closed your heart and brain. I'll just comment on something you, are you sure that "This is easily the greatest stupidity ever written in any religious book. "
I don't think you read your bible, DO YOU? LET'S FIND OUT.
Ezekiel 4:
12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread ..

A reflection of you:
This is not true, provide me with evideces.
Duh , Scully & Fisher Of Men:
The problem is not "it's weird that God guided them to write exactly the same thing" but the problem is in the writers thierselves, how could the same words exist in 2 different minds? otherwise in this way the WHOLE BIBLE would be considered contradicting itself because many stories are told by different expressions according to the writers. Then why didn't god inspire them all to write the whole bible in one way instead of having all these books?
rukidding:
No, they are not the same writer.
Provide me with evidences, please.
Fisher Of Men:
Are you sure that "The Bible did not come by the will of man. They did not interpet the Bible the way they wanted, they had no choice, but to write the bible"
Read the first for verses (((carefully))) Of Luke:

Joy:
Give me another instace where 2 COMPLETE chapters from 2 different books are nearly identical.
Besides, It's supposed to be no quoting as the writer just write what they are inspired with. But references to other books may be found and I'm not talking about that.
Richbro:
Thanks, You prooved when you said "One copied from parts of another." that the bible is MAN MADE because as I said before that they had just to write what they are inspired with. And one's it's man made so the possibility of these books to contain contradictions is absolutely present.
And we got tired of replying the story prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) and Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) but it's you who rejects the truth.

Dear Khalid,
Salaam to you. From the answers you have received so far, One thing seems very clear. The Christians do not seem interested in answering your question. The least one could do when unable to answer, is to keep quiet. But they cant and they wont. In response to your question, they say if that is what God has intended then thats the way it shall be. The next time, try pinpointing the contradictions in their Bible and they will say the same thing. Its like a dog barking at the sun. These people will never change unless God showers His mercy on them.

There are many instances in the Bible where earlier portions were quoted again - word for word. So it not unusual. Besides, God is the author of the Bible. And an author has the right and the liberty to repeat passages for emphasis. Read the entire Bible to understand it further. The humans who wrote the Bible were just used by God to write His thoughts - similar to a Manager dictating a letter to Stenographer. The Steno writes down the Manager's words - and the Manager has the right to dictate repititions as well.

No. Could be that one person wrote two books much like in the New Testament when it is widely believed by scholars that Luke wrote both the gospel and Acts.
Gee, I guess I shouldn't have expected much more than you got in those answers. I appreciate your devotion AND the intelligent way you asked the question about the Bible. I don't understand how Evangelicals think the Bible was written. I know that Saint Jerome put the book together in the form we know it in the 4th Century. How you stated the Bible was written is exactly what Catholic Christians believe it was done.

Hi Khalid H. Every single word in the Bible is exactly the word God wants. The men whom God used to speak through and whose hand God used to write the Bible, wrote it exactly the way God wanted it. The Bible did not come by the will of man.
They did not interpet the Bible the way they wanted, they had no choice, but to write the Bible, word for word, the way God wanted. In 2 Peter 1:21 God tells us this is the truth:
"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

Aren't you going against your own religious belief and reading the Christian Bible. What will your allah think of you?
The Bible is the inspiration of God the Father.... He's the one that told the authors of all the books what to write.
Do a little more research and you will understand why both the beginning of these two chapters are very similar.

God never inspired or wrote the bible scribes did, and Allah or any other God did either, Muhammad and his army wrote the Koran, and it wasn't for the benefit of the people either, anyone today with and that uses common sense and logic know that it's all a religious fraud created by greed driven men and that's a fact!

You know..
Everyone should just repect the beliefs and religions of others.
I'm a Muslim but I have peers of different religions and a little respect go a long way.
And God can do what he pleases. Noone has the right to question God. I think that's the same for all religions.

Duh!!
Anyway, no I don't think that's weird.
Also you misspelled weird.
But, what is really "Weird", and "Evil", and "Foul",
Is a 54 year old "Child Molester", (Muhammed), having sexual intercourse with a 9 year old "Child"!!
Whatever sayings that come out of his mouth are less than credible!!
http://www.geocities.com/AntiJihad/mo_pedo.html
The "Real" God did not have "Anything" to do with the Quran!!
