Of course. They take what will sell, bits and pieces of facts loaded with lies and portray it as real. Because, honestly, how well would a nice, loving religion sell on the news or movies?

It sells what people want to see. When you think Paganism/Wicca you think of goats blood and frog legs. I know it is incorrect but thats what people expect to see. If they are portrayed as nice honest people then it doesn't sell as much. People want to believe the worst ( in most cases ) and the media feeds on that.

YES! I don't know how false 'The Craft' is cause I haven't seen it.
The media feeds on money making popular beliefs that go against the norm.
Media today=Christian hating liberals who think there is only one acceptable truth...atheism.

Since, like all religions, it is made up, there is no continuity or unity to it anyway. There are no experts and it is just a glom of ideas somewhat shared by different individuals. There is no empirical verification or testability.

Of course it does.
Every religion has it's own view, and there's definitely something that doesn't suit someone.
Peace.
