Well, it can be both.
Love can be a natural emotional feeling that a person feels without necessarily having to do any effort, at the same time, love can be earned when a person finds love from another party.
It depends on the circumstances a person is in. But when you feel it, you'll know that it's love.

no one has the understanding of love for a woman. Proverbs 30: 18-19. Proverbs is the book of wisdom. Look at the guy, he was the wisest MAN God created. He knew no love for a woman, so if the wisest man doesn't know, neither will u. U have to seek God for the wisdom and understanding for her. I believe there is love for every thing Else, father to son, brothers, friends. Just not Marriages. I love woman, but I can't love a woman.

If it had to be earned babies wouldn't be loved.
Love is different for everyone....and there are probably as many ways to describe it as there are people in the world.

I totally agree with JesusLov .. God is love ans since we are his/her sons we are also capable of sharing it and when we give it to someone we re generating more love so lets try to share it with everybody
