Anti Christians like to say the Church did nothing to stop the Holocaust. What could they have done? "Excuse us, Mr Hitler, could you please not do that?" Does the Church have an army? Last I checked, it was Christian nations like the US and Britain that put an end to Hitler. And no, the Russians didn't beat Hitler, the Russian winter did, and they killed Jews at will. Russia got to the camps first, only because the main German forces were being annhililated by America after D-Day

And then post me your comments about this country and this religion - or beter, the abuse of the religion.

Is this something that should be done to kids? Not even in the worst time of russian communist dictatorship was the brain-washing so sickeningly thorough.

This is a gay marriage question.

To me marriage is between a man and a woman, but many people would accept gays to get married.

Would you be Ok with a man to change their gender to a woman or a woman to change her gender to a man just in paper?

What if that does not work out? Would it be OK for them to switch back?

Based on the below,

There are some self professed Christians who are pro gay marriage and some who are not for gay marriage.
Some have stated that those who are for gay marriage are not true Christians.

Christians who are for gay marriage, you are true Christians, and I am an atheist. I am perhaps not going to be able to persuade those Christians against gay marriage that they should be for it.

Is there any justification, from a "true Christian", on having a pro-gay marriage position?

I do not ask this as a "divide and conquer", but more as a . . . heh you share a world view . . perhaps your words would carry more wieght than mine.

Christians, persuade the other Christians, and the day is yours.

Ok first thing correct me if I am wrong but original sin is where Adam against god's wishes eat the fruit on the tree which introduced Adam+Eve to the concept of sin?
Ok now the main question if god is omnipotent therefore all-knowing then he must of known that if he created the man and the fruit and being all knowing he must have known that Adam would take a bite out of it before the events transpired would not that be gods fault for Adam eating the apple and therefore humans should not have to pay for "original sin?"

Think about it god creating humans must know that we are a curious race so he should have known that Adam would eat it god created man and gave him the traits which led him to eat the fruit so therefore god must have known all along what would happen therefore it is gods fault for ignoring his knowledge of what would happen and would not that be selfish of him to blame his creation for doing exactly what he created it to do?

What a glorious day it's been! The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the daffodils have emerged from their winter hibernation. To top it all, I managed to get out this afternoon for a round of golf. Fresh air, exercise, good company and spectucular scenery (shame about the golf, though). No wonder I'm cheerful today. How about you? Anything good happen you'd like to share with all of us? Let's spread a little sunshine ourselves.

My Aunt, 92 years old ,is dieing from cancer. I know she going to a much better place, she will not have to suffer. So, why is it so hard to let go? The Bible says that we should celebrate when a Christian dies, I know this, and yet I feel sad and selfish.

I have several questions to ask religious christians that I have been extremly curious about and I would like them to answer because they do not make sense to me.

1: Why do you believe in the bible even though many of the things in it cannot be true?
2.Why do you believe in miracles and prayer when you cannot name a miracle that could not have been created by concidence and or man made solutions.
3. If humans are the perfect form created by god what are neanderthals, homo erectus, homo habalis, and other types of human predeccesors? A scientific conspiracy against god?

A "w" can be a "6" in the Hebrew alphabet. So this could be where alot of people think that the internet will at the very least, be used by the anti-christ. So, the mark of the beast will involve computer technology? Just asking how you Christians out there feel about this.

Maybe all of the religions' Gods should tell people to stop worshipping their respective religions so much and just all get along, thus saving innocent peoples' lives who are caught in the crossfire? Wouldn't that be a Godly thing to do if they all love us so much?

In human history slave traders and owners have used passages from the Bible to give them justification for their business of human flesh.

Some modern Christians say that these other Christians were wrong. I applaud these Christians, and hope they will continue to try to stop the slavery, for currently there are over 2 million child sex slaves, and I feel this number is a low estimate.

I ask, there are some Christians not opposed to gay marriage, and do not feel the Bible is part of this political conversation.

Some Christians oppose gay marriage on the basis of the Bible. Perhaps the best move for them is, when invited to the gay marriage, just send a blender.

The sad thing is these Christians many of them find the pro-gay marriage Christians, "Not true Christians".

Gay marriage. Is it possible that one group of Christians, like the historic slave traders, has themselves on the wrong side of this, a moral and human rights issue?

Free exercise of religion is the first and most fundamental right of Americans protected in the Bill of Rights. It is the most basic and inalienable of all human rights.

However, the right to freely exercise one's faith has never been more threatened in our nation than it is today. And the rights of Christians are especially vulnerable.

For more than 80 years, the ACLU and its allies have attempted to eliminate public expression of our nation's faith and heritage. They have done this through fear, intimidation, disinformation, and the filing of lawsuits (or threats of lawsuits). This attack on religious freedom has not been limited to adults. Even young boys and girls have been punished for bringing their beliefs inside the school walls. It’s not hard to imagine the consequences if this assault on our freedom continues. But the Alliance Defense Fund is fighting back, and with your help, we can win!

How to find through the Internet Christian single people in their 30s who have lived for some time in a monastery but returned home, understanding that monastic life was not their vocation. And though now they live in the “world”, their life and worldview are not secular but, in some sense, remain monastic, or, in other words, they are very conservative and old-fashioned Christians. I need to find such friends or soulmates. Please give me advice what I can do to find them.
