There are some self professed Christians who are pro gay marriage and some who are not for gay marriage.
Some have stated that those who are for gay marriage are not true Christians.
Christians who are for gay marriage, you are true Christians, and I am an atheist. I am perhaps not going to be able to persuade those Christians against gay marriage that they should be for it.
Is there any justification, from a "true Christian", on having a pro-gay marriage position?

I do not ask this as a "divide and conquer", but more as a . . . heh you share a world view . . perhaps your words would carry more wieght than mine.

Christians, persuade the other Christians, and the day is yours.

Funny. I just answered a question just like this. Here's my previous answer:
I am Christian but I do not have a problem with gay marriage. Marriage was not started by Christianity and therefore we Christians do not have the right to tell gays whether or not they can be married.
I would have a problem if churches were forced by law to allow gays to be married at their church. Fortunately, I don't believe anyone is fighting to make that law. If gay marriage were to become legal, each church/minister should have the choice as to whom they would like to marry.

Same sex marriage is a red herring yanked out by the church to draw attention away from its own shortcomings and failure to follow Jesus.
It is a non-issue. Church should not be trying to mandate (deliberate word) morality on those not inside the church.
Differentiate the terms christian and church. There is a religion rampant today in North America called church. While it seems to adhere to teachings of Jesus, it lacks the substance, power and direction given by Jesus.
Why do the churches condemn anyone that does not fit their mold? Because they do not see with Jesus' eyes.
The christian agenda is not to be political. Jesus lived under Roman occupation and never once condemned it. He did condemn the load the religious leaders were putting on their own people.
Homosexuality as a distinct "sin" is a non-issue.

Marriage belongs in synagogues, temples, churches, cathedrals, mosques, Kingdom Halls and the like. It belongs nowhere else. Religious organizations should decide for themselves who and under what circumstances people should be "married." Religious organizations need to get out of the business of being handmaids to the state.
No state, or the United States, should define, endorse, or otherwise recognize for contractual, or inheritance purposes, or health purposes any marriage. Rather, for those purposes the state should require a civil contract that allows any two persons of any race, creed, color, or gender to legally be bound for contractual, inheritance purposes, or health purposes.
The State need not recognize marriage for any purpose, and religious organizations should not recognize civil contracts as marriage.

christians who support homosexuality aren't "true christians". They can't be true christians, if they are directly going against what the bible says. And as the bible was written by ignorant people thousands of years ago with no real concept of homosexuality, the bible is explicitly against homosexuality.
Therefore i'm pro-gay and anti-religion!

I have hard time accepting gay marriage. God love us all. But that does not mean that we can OK something what God is against.
