Translation of "www" from English to Hebrew can also be "666?"?

A "w" can be a "6" in the Hebrew alphabet. So this could be where alot of people think that the internet will at the very least, be used by the anti-christ. So, the mark of the beast will involve computer technology? Just asking how you Christians out there feel about this.

LOOK PEOPLE!!! I'm not saying the internet is evil, or a tool of Satan for sure. I'm basing it on what I have learned and read over the years. The internet is certainly full of evil and good things. I was only asking how you people felt about this!

I have no doubt that since we live in a time where technology is so advanced that it will be used to enforce the mark of the beast. However the Mark of the Beast is not some chip or some such.. read your Bibles.

On that same note, 666 is NOT the mark of the beast. It is called the number of his name. The mark of the beast is quite different from this often misunderstood number.

yes, i was told this a few years ago. Its very interesting. Well, in the bible its described as the mark of the beast. Other ppl like Adolf Hilter's name, apparently also had the 666 thing attached to it.

So maybe the internet has it cos it will aid in the Anti-christis stuff that will happen(cos there is soooo much disgusting and evil stuff on the net). Or it could be as u say that it will involve comp. tech.

Either way, i still find it interesting. But not scary, cos i know what's gonna happen.

So six hundred and sixty six, not six-six-six.

Hebrew counting is similar to Roman.

In Roman countin , II is not 11, it is 1 + 1 i.e. 2.

Similarly, W (or, more accurately, waw) = 6, so WWW = 6 + 6 + 6 = 18

The 6th letter of the hebrew alphabet is Vov. And the closest to W is the letter Shin.
Neither of which can be used as a number. Let alone the number 6.

This is true- hahahaha. The 'w' though is called a vav, and is only a 'w' in Yemenite, classical Christian, and certain Academic Hebrews. Others use it as a 'v' sound.

in hebrew numerical 6 is the letter "ו" in order to portray a w sound a double letter is used hence "וו" according to the reasoning listed above www is 666666 so I don't think there is any connection

Yes,the mark of the beast will be ivolved from computer technology.Actually,they already made the chip.People are already using it but it isn't big yet.I feel very sad and happy at thhe same time.I feel sad because so many people are gonna be left behind.I feel happy because I get to be with God forever!

yeah .. i feel there will be a global financial system eventually that is cashless and a person will need a chip implant or some other mark in their body to buy or sell .... this will be it imo ... and im sure it will be involved with computers and the web .. how else ..
