Is this something that should be done to kids? Not even in the worst time of russian communist dictatorship was the brain-washing so sickeningly thorough.

I guess I'd put this under the "or what?" category.
I find it to be a little odd, but not brainwashing.
First I doubt that any of those kids thought that was actually president Bush.
Second, if you listen closely, they are not worshipping president Bush, only speaking a blessing over him and praying for him.
Also, you probably don't know much about pentacostal people, at least not as much as you know about "the worst time of Russian communist ditactorship" and their "brain-washing" techniques. Based on your thorough knowledge of Russian brain-washing techniques, I can only conclude that your ignorance of Pentocostals would lead you to believe that what you saw in this video was even comparable, let alone being worse. Or was that just hyperbologne?
I suspect your biggest problem with this is that you have a strong dislike for christianity and president Bush, and you find him being presented in a moderately favorable light to be disagreeable.
I could be wrong. But to test my theory on yourself, imagine the cardboard cut out is president Clinton and the crusty old white lady is a black (since crusty old white ladies can be kind of scary, even scarier, I think, than crusty old white guys) and at the end instead of chanting "One nation under God!" they chant "Mr. President, save mother earth from global warming!"
Still seem like brainwashing more thorough than the communist Russian's, or just a little odd?

I don't see any problem with it. Christian children are praying for their leader. What's wrong with asking God to help our president do a good job? Now maybe it might verge on praying to an idol by having a cutout of President Bush, but that's another squabble.
