The t-shirt says "God is fake"

One man finally helped but he also tried to convert me.

I went to the same place a week later with a Christian shirt on and I got help immediately

That's funny. I wore my Jesus fish swallowing a darwin fish shirt and when I needed help, at least a dozen guys came running!
I think a couple of them were even atheists, but I'm not sure...they all swore they were good Christian boys...

All kidding aside, if this story is true, (which I doubt), the thing you ought to focus on is the fact that the one person who did try to help you was a Christian.
Surely, you aren't the only atheist in your area??.

People judge others and do not try and help them like the Bible says. If I was passing you by and seen you I would not care what you wore and would try to help if I could. I believe in God and hate to call my self a christian just because of how most of them act. There is a golden rule that people ought to live by. "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." The people that passed you by would want no help from someone if they needed it. Please don't judge all people that believe in God harshly. Some of us really don't try and convert or stick our noses up like we are better than others. We are the few and far between, but we are here.

No Athiests helped u. Both times it was the Christians who helped u. What does this tell u about athiests, never mind the chirsitians. lol, really is very ironic. Isnt it. haha

There is one thing to be learnt from this story....

......in the future, if u want help, keep ur Christian T-Shirt handy so u can just quickly slip it on.Easy peasy.

BTW, u shouldnt lie like that, It really isnt v. nice. Hopefully when u do wear ur christian shirt, someone will manage to convert u....some day....hopefull.

By example, John, I wish to show it matters not what color,
what writing or no writing on a t-shirt gets help or ignored.

Friend of mine wears his "Unsanctified" black/ red letters
t-shirts often and is homeless. He'll ask for water at a
fast food restaurant of the Mgr, unknowingly. He is told
just a minute, please, then is handed a large sandwich,
Fr Fries, coffee with the water FREE. Now daily, his cup
of coffee is free, though he received pan-handling cash
to buy it, & returns as a paying customer at noon 4 lunch.
Always in black, somedays he gets enough cash for 3 meals
of a variety, and other days not enough for one. That's
when he will come eat & shower at my place, no matter the
t-shirt he has on.

Planning to stay home, same one above asked for a ride
from 6 miles away to his uncaring parents in the rain.
Half way there, I broke down in a short mini t-shirt dress!
It was 5 PM traffic, dead alternator in Right Turn lane.
I popped the hood, raised it and got behind my car to
motion cars coming to go around. I was too weak to push
it around corner & up a driveway from the flu. Of all dang
places, I was in front of former auto repair, over charged me!
Men in cars kept coming right up to me like a circus was starting
they did not want to miss. NOT ONE offered to help push
the car off the road with me pushing & steering. So, they
sat as I jumped up waving my arms for others to go around.
Hostile, I screamed old owner's name of garage. Guy yelled
back, no one here by that name. I needed this guy or anyone
to get my car off of the road. Two came to move it, and let
me know the shop has been under New Owner 2 yrs. In all
my distress that day, I almost forgot to call my friend on his
pre-paid min. phone to cancel my giving him a ride. To my
surprise, I fell into good care of my car, good rates and am
now a good referring customer.

It would've made no difference had I worn my T-shirt that says: Sex is a misdemeanor, the more I miss, the meaner I get.
(esp. on a single Catholic woman that doesn't rate one by
their various garb). I cannot always help or get help, too!

First of all you were faking it, and I as a Christian, I ask God what to do if I stumble upon a situation like that.

Plus, if you were truly in need and you had asked God for help, he would have sent someone to help you. You just need to trust him. When you have a real situation, you can judge us.

I don't know, a man beside the road, looking desperate for help, could be after something else. Like you were.

The only one that helped you tried to convert you? Maybe they saw something in you that you aren't seeing? A week later you tried the opposite and what happened? God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Jesus said "blessed are those that believe without seeing" The Lord works in strange ways doesn't He ?

Because people think that if you don't believe the same as they do then you are evil. This world is full of fake Christians because they act like the are better than everyone else. Even their Savior helped people without the same belief. There just aren't that many true people in the world anymore are there? I'm tired of all the fake sacreligious people.

hmmm.

When panhandlers ask for money, they always say things like "God bless you" and "I'll be praying for you and your family" and people give them money even though they know they're probably just conning them.

So I guess the lesson here is that if you're going to be obviously dishonest, pretending to be a Christian will give you a slight edge. Maybe next time you could pretend to have a sick child that needs to go to the hospital.

Because thats the way ignorant people think! I used to be atheist just like you! But there where a couple of very caring and loving Christian people who would give me the shirt off their back! Loving Christ means loving others! Even your worst enemies! Even those who hate him! Christ died for Atheists too! Thats how I was converted!!!

It simply means there are more Christians than Atheist out there and although an Atheist might be willing to help a Christian motorist in trouble. It is very unlikely that a Christian will help an Atheist. Do you know the story of the good Samaritan. Christians aren't like that. Of course I don't believe for a minute your story is true.
