The reason I want to leave my wife is not only because I can't stand being around her, but cuz she packed on the pounds. Call me a pig but I'm trying to be honest.

How do you think your wife would feel if you were hit today by a car and were paralyzed. You would no longer be the man she married. We do not marry and love for just physical gratification, it is for emotional reasons as well. At one point you could stand to be around her enough to love and marry here. Other then the weight gain what has changed? Would you want your mother to not love you because your weight is not acceptable. Do you know what unconditional love is? You not your wife has a problem. Even if you leave her and find someone else, oneday that someone else is going to be 80 years old, wrinkled and unattractive, what are you going to do then, get a younger model? If you do, then you are the type of person who is going to be lonely, no woman wants an 80 year old man unless your loaded and then all she wants is your money. Grow up, get into marriage counseling and take up walking or some sort of excercise with your wife and encourage her to get healthier. You are incredibly unhappy because you don't like who you are, and you are a person that wants instant gratification, that is probably why you are married due to pregnancy, couldn't wait.

Then in that case you need to try and get her to see your side and also see that she is putting herself at risk for health problems. It is bad to not love and be able to be around your wife just because she is fat, but you are not going to help her if you don't try. The only stupid thing is to not give her a chance in saving your marriage. But I get the feeling that you may have someone stading by to replace her in your life. If that is the case then you are not just a pig, but a jack*#! as well.

If you truly love the woman but hate the pounds, help her to enroll in a 'weight loss' program.
You may leave her for another woman who will have the same problem.
