Here's why I ask:

Genesis 1:27 "God created man in his own image..."

Exodus 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above..."

Thus, any picture (camera, portrait, etc.) of a person would be a "likeness" of god (in heaven), and violate the 4th Commandment. So do you allow people to take your picture?

i just downloaded some ipod games from limewire.

when i tryed to import them to itunes it says that is not a valid export file.

how can i get it so that i can play the games on my ipod?

it is an ipod nano if that is important.

that they found the bones of jesus. theres no real evidence they found 20 tombs just like that one. just because i would go against christians belief dosnt mean its true. thats not how science works

I have read lots of things that mention Dec. 2012..and possible, well, events that might occur. I know that it is the Winter Solstice, as predicted by the Mayans a long time ago...as that's when their calendar ends...but is it possible something will occur?
-Dimensional shift
-Advanced evolution
-Some devasting event
-Coming of Christ

Im not saying I believe this, but I find it interesting.

I've just finished doing taxes for this year and I'm sick to my stomach as usual. But I went in and fiddled a bit to find that if my wife and I filed as single, we would owe $5000 less in taxes! I've heard of the marriage penalty but that's insane. I figure that no matter what congress does to "eliminate" the marriage tax, that will never happen until both incomes are measured on the tax bracket separately. That is, say I earn $128,000 and my wife earns $50,000. If she were single, she would only pay taxes in the range of 10% to 25% but since she is married, her income is lopped on top of mine and therefore it is taxed at 28%. I'm seriously considering a divorce (as in state law) and cohabitating.

I guess my question is what are the "rules" for marriage under God's law (Christian). Would God still consider us married? If not, why?

Christians often quote verses like:

"38But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."John 10:38

and ignore:

John 17:15-22

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. "

Interesting according to their logic they would be God too; what an interesting pagan fantasy.

Seems more and more Christans are accepting that there is nothing wrong with getting a tatto. About 40 years ago it was consider wrong to mark youself, but even yourth pastors have them. Yes, they do put things like bible versous and images of the cross or things like that. But is it still wrong? Do you see it wrong? Where does not it say to mark your self with ink and why not? In our time its becoming a norm to have a tattoo even for Christians.

I mean I am a chrisitan and I love Jesus with all my heart, but I just dont know if its truthful
