identity theft? They steal the identity of being a Christian from the Catholics and then turn around and deny the Catholics their own identity?

One of the tenets is:

Yin and yang can transform into one another.

At a particular stage, yin can transform into yang and vice versa. For example, night changes into day; warmth cools; life changes to death. However this transformation is relative too. Night and day coexist on Earth at the same time when shown from space.

does it follow then that death changes into life?

I really want to know. Many members of all belief or non belief systems (theists, atheists, agnostics, spiritualists, EVERYONE) seem to think that they are especially persecuted. What is your reasoning, if you are among these?

I ask this question because it seems that barcodes can be used for good. Many bodies are found murdered everyday with no proff of who that person is. If there was barcode on the body to show who this person is most murders might be soved. Now, do you belive the barcode can help all or be nothing but trouble? Would you let yourself be marked?

This is what people (some more famous than others) had to say about Christianity. This video I made only have a small number of the quotes I found. Most of the quotes were so good I could not decide which ones to leave in or take out.

"The most preposterous notion that H sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery. Yet this absurd fantasy, without a shred of evidence to bolster it, pays all the expenses of the oldest, largest, and least productive industry in all history."

I hear people say things like " The Truth of Jesus Christ " and stuff like that all the time. But is it the Truth? Do they know it because they feel it? Do they feel it because they know it?

I tend to use the word Truth differently.

I can have Faith that my car will get me to work today.
I can Believe that my car will get me to work today.
I will not KNOW that my car will get me to work today until it actually gets me to work.

And thats the Truth.

I know I have asked this quit a few times , but I keep getting different answers.

Me and my boyfriend are on a break right now.
He wanted a break too see if he should be in this relationship
Sometimes he feels like I might be holding him back from something, not sure what but something.
We havent talked in a week and Im scared that he wont want to be with my anymore.
Im not overbearing and anytime he talks about God I always listen because I love God with all my heart.
I thnk he might not think I am as Chrisitan as he is which makes me upset. Is there anything I can say to make him realize that I wont hold him back?
Is his reason good for taking a break, even if I dont turn him away from God?
just confused, any advice (besides smart alick advice) will help, thanks alot!

With all of the suffering in the world, how can one actually believe that if they just sit around a pray for others that that is all they should be doing? Jesus historical life (as much as we actually know about it) was lived by taking actions that helped others. Darfur is a disaster, tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians are dead, thousands of American soldiers are dead, civil rights and human rights are being severely threatened. What do you believe right action is regardless of your belief system?
I am a Buddhist and in my dharma practice we act because it is right not because of the fruits of any possible reward. Thoughts? Namaste people.

Do you like it that your religion is the only way? Or would you personally prefer that good Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Pagans, Atheists, etc could make it too? I understand that you trust that God knows what He is doing, and that He chose better than you would - but if YOU had to decide, would you wish that all could make it to heaven without having to believe in the right religion?

Do you ever feel bad, shy, or guilty about telling people that if they aren't a member of your religion that they can't make it to heaven?

Or do you feel boastful about it? Do you feel like you are being courageous and heroic for telling them the harsh truth?

Which of the existing religions do you most respect, and why?

Of the great religions of history, I prefer Buddhism, especially in its earliest forms, because it has had the smallest element of persecution.
