what question would you ask to take the road to life? remember one lies one tells the truth, but you dont know which one is answering the question.

You can ask either person this question, and know that the answer will be wrong:
Here's the question: "Which road would the other man tell me is the road to life?"
The honest one will truthfully report the lie that the liar would tell
The liar will un-truthfully not say what the honest one would answer
So either way, take the other road.

I would ask one, if i was to ask the other guy which is the road to life, what would he tell me? The road they guy tells me to take i know is the wrong one and it is the other road that leads to life.If i'm asking the one who only tells the truth, he would be telling me the liar would tell me the wrong road, if i'm asking the liar, he would lie and tell me the other guy would tell me the road to death. Either way the answer giving would be the road to death. the other would be the road to life. I'm not this smart, i saw the movie labyrinth, same kind of question on that. good movie

Take either road because in the end life was good. If death is to come let it be a happy experience towards the upper plane in what ever religion, not a painfull one towards the lower realms. Laugh and live because either road will make me happy. But if i had to ask then ask i will:
which road is longer?
who ever tells me theirs is shorter tells me nothing and helps me decide nothing but further interests me in the humurous situation. =D

You ask one, "What would HE (pointing to the other one) say is the road I should take?" Whichever road he answers, take the other one.

ask them the following:
"If you were your opposite, which one would you say is the truthteller."
They'll both answer the same, calling the liar the truthteller. Of the two of them, choose the one that they didn't pick when they answered your question, and follow his road, because he will be the truthteller.
