Well, seeing as how you're an atheist neo-Druid, then I'd say you don't have to worry about whether something is a sin or not. Just worry about whether it'll lead to shanty houses in your neighborhood or something like that! Right off, I can't see it happening, so go ahead and paste your love to that 100 by 100 pixel piece of cyberspace! Hahaha! Did you ever read a novel by William Gibson called "Idoru" ? A rock star falls in love with a virtual girl and he strives to become fully digital himself. It was cool and real cyberpunk Japan fodder...I enjoyed it. Gibson wrote it in 1996; it sure seems to be on track in many ways. Enjoy your infatuation!

I would say no it is not a sin because people can like really communicate these days online. Even families can come back together. I know mine's all split up internationally. Hey love is always a good thing.

I think it falls into the same category as those people who look at cartoon porn. I had a buddy in college in love with the Tomb Raider girl. I thought he meant Angelina, but he literally meant the character on the video game.
Hey, whatever tickles your pickle. Just make sure you treat "her" well.

No, but I can't imagine it would lead to a terribly fulfilling relationship. Have you considered perhaps contacting the person who made the avatar?

that depends. Do you mean one of the cartoony ones that Yahoo makes? Or do you mean a photo that someone is using? I think if you are in love with one of the cartoony ones, then it is not a sin, but it means you're a looney tune.

I don't think it's a sin......but then again, i don't believe in sin so i could fall in love with a box of Cheerios and it would still be ethical.

The only sin you need to worry about is the sin of rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third for your justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
