Do you like it that your religion is the only way? Or would you personally prefer that good Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Pagans, Atheists, etc could make it too? I understand that you trust that God knows what He is doing, and that He chose better than you would - but if YOU had to decide, would you wish that all could make it to heaven without having to believe in the right religion?

Do you ever feel bad, shy, or guilty about telling people that if they aren't a member of your religion that they can't make it to heaven?

Or do you feel boastful about it? Do you feel like you are being courageous and heroic for telling them the harsh truth?

Only the fool can be arrogant enough to believe that he knows everything and is totally right.

All Religions have their limitations and problems; and, also, their strong points.

Cheers!

God loves all mankind - all humanity that is created in His image - and God does not want anyone to suffer (perish) and be separated from Him in Hell for all eternity;

so

He made a way to insure that we don't; however, its whether we chose to believe this or not that makes your destiny;

and

God is not a respector of men, so

you can be a Jew or a Gentile or a Buddhist or a anything... ok ??? and still come to Christ

if you DONT want to believe God's word about your soul, your sins and your eternity than you go to Hell;

if you DO want to believe that God has made a way for you to get to Heaven then read the bible and the instructions are there ...!!

Have a blessed day !

Everyone has herd the warning about God, All mighty and his messengers words and works, and they are still being teached today. But, For example, I'm a muslim, that dosn't mean we, including I go around saying we will go to heaven, or hell, no, we believe everyone is going to be judged on the day of Judgment, by God aka Allah {STW}. A Muslim's job is not to convert people. We are only to warn and give the message. All religions are good, yes. But, don't be fouled into blind faith followers, those who say only they believe but all ways they are doing the opposite of there beliefs. This is the best quote, I've herd "Islam is the Straight path, Religion is not left, nor is it right, it is straight like an arrow."

First of all not all go to heaven, see Revalation Chapter 14 1; - Faith follows the thing heard-- Compare Acts 17: 11, 12; John 4: 39-42,; 2 Chronicles 9: 5-8 A person must first find out waht the Bible says, and he will strengthen his/her conviction if he/she examines it carefully so as to be convinced of its reliability Roman 10: 10 "With the heart on exercises faith, Meditating on godly things to build up appreciation for them , by impressing them on his/her figurative heart. Example: A friend you have that you can say: " I trust that person. I can count on them to keep their word; and I know that if I have a problem, they will come to my aid. It's not likely that would say that of someone you have not known for some time. A person you've known for a long time. So it is with faith and the building of that faith. Ergo it stands that showing them they are following the wrong path, on the travel to God, would be a benefical things not something to be ashamed of.

I am orthodox. The first Christian church after Christ (no it was NOT Catholic). I do not believe necessarily that if you are not Orthodox you wont go to heaven. I think there are basic components to christianity that must be adhered to and most churches, in order to be popular with the world, do not enforce the basics of christianity. Most people here on Yahoo Answers say they are Christians but this and but that. There are no buts in Christian life. The Bible covers it and has demands of Christians. These demands may conflict with the general populaces' ideas but that does not mean it is wrong. It means that people have decided that what they want is more important.

Sometimes I really do wish that Christianity were not true, I would much prefer to believe in reincarnation so I could get a chance to do my life over. But I have to believe what the evidence dictates, and unless I find a substantial body of new evidence I'm stuck with it. All I can do for other people is point them at the evidence and let them draw their own conclusions.

A wise man once said: that there are ways to God as many as the number of people on earth, but there is only One Way from God, to all these people.

And the right path, is the one that meets your personal path with the path that God has for people.

To me, my brain and my heart , are content and happy, because of my religion. And my religion can be questioned without the fear of going to hell.

I wish everyone had that kind of feeling. and I wish everyone would find peace and be One with God, and go to heaven.

There is only one way to heaven and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. But I am not your judge God is. I am very concerned that if you don 't have this personal relationship with the Lord you will perish like the bible says. I do not enjoy teling others thay need to underatnd that Jesus is the only way. I will not judge or make fun of you because that is the way The Lord teaches me to act. I only love others like the bible says to do.

No, I wouldn't have made it any other way. God made us, and has cared for us and has given us life. All those who are willing to accept Him will go to heaven. Buddhist or not. "Whosoever (including Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Pagans, Atheists, etc) shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

well, sometimes I wish that certain people whom I appreciate can enter heaven too, so I pray secretly that god guides them. But then I remember what god said in the Quran that you can't guide whom you like but god guides whom he wants. Still thought I try to treat people from other religions well, since god ordered me so & I try not to persuade them to enter my religion but to make a good example for my religion in front of them as this is the most effective non-persuasive way of preaching your religion

I don't know that my religion is the only way. That is what the bible claims but I question a lot that is in there. My choice would be that all who tried to be "good people" could enter. I don't go around telling others that they can't go to heaven. I don't "know" for sure that they won't.

Besides that there's the whole judging thing and it doesn't seem very loving to tell someone they're going to hell now does it?
