Saying you are a Christian and being one are two different things. Many claim to be Christian when they really aren't. A true Christian has accepted Jesus Christ as their savior and does the very best they can to walk in ALL of God's ways and to do their best to bring glory to His name and not shame.

If you are a christian, you have to obey God. If you say you are one and do not obey God then you are not what you are calling yourself to be. If you believe in the guy on the cross, then you have to follow his steps, walk with faith and of course obey.

A true christain has a personal relationship with the Lord. The Bible says to work out your own salvation. At times we may not obey God in a situtation but He forgives us. The most important is to remember it is your personal time and relationship with the Lord.We work at obeying Him but we are human. That is why he gave us the bible to guide us.

I can call myself a Japanese Citizen but that does not make me one.
But If I was born in Japan I would be one.

God know his family. He knows his children that will be with him in the after life and he know his children that will not be with him for God is all knowing.

That goes the other way to, If I was born in Japan I could deny that I was Japanese but that would not change my ethnicity.
