Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs 6: 16 There are six things that Jehovah does hate: yes, seven are things detestable to his soul: 17 lofty eyes, {pride} a false tongue {liar} and hands that are shedding innocent blood, 18 a heart fabricating hurtful schemes, feet that are in a hurry to run to badness, 19 a false witness that launches forth lies, and anyone sending forth contentions among brothers.

I wonder if "the Lord" hates anything. We would have to determine, in order to answer that question, whether there is a "Lord," of course. If we were able to answer in the affirmative we'd have then find out whether this "Lord" were subject to such human attributes as emotion or whether we were projecting our own human foibles onto the "Lord."
I suspect that we decide somewhere along the lines that the "Lord" must hate what we hate, so it should be all right for us to hate, too.

Edit: Hey, interesting how some Christians provided references and left homosexuality off YET some just seemed to wing it from memory (i.e. no reference) and got homosexuality on the list. Nice. Goes to show where one's mind is at, I guess.
