My aunt told me that she could see Jesus in my eyes?
Do you think she was being serious or just trying to say something?
I mean I am a chrisitan and I love Jesus with all my heart, but I just dont know if its truthful
BTW : If any one says something bad about God, then get out of the Religion Section. Please I dont feel like hearing your immature remarks from ignorant people. Just keep it too yourslf its not funny at all!!
Anyways thnks for reading!

To "SUN" (and every one else that said irrelevont stuff) the reason I said what I said is becasue everytime i post something about God up and put it in the religion section, someone comes up and says something stupid like what they have been saying. Why be in the religion section if you dont have one? And when its aimed towards christian people I really dont care what any one else has to say unless they are Chrisitan.
Anyways thanks to all who replied!!!

I would take it to mean that she saw something typical of Jesus, like kindness or sincerity. I'd say that is a nice compliment. There is an old saying, "the eyes are the window of the soul". There is probably some measure of truth to that.

Great search into the truth!
You Aunt may be speaking in the NOW or to your potential in the future. New testament prophecy is a word of exhortation, edification or comfort. Your Aunt's words are words that build up and not tear down. They are words spoken that may not be yet but have the ability to manifest in the future. You and Jesus alone know what's going on in your heart. Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments. Is He your savior, and Lord or do you just say that? You can know a tree by the fruit that it bears. Jesus is to see through your eyes, hear through your ears, touch the world through your hands - Christ in you the hope of glory.

I would take what your aunt said as a compliment. I myself have realized through experience that you really can see Jesus through someones eyes. Not that you see Him physically or see Jesus' per se. But that the Spirit within you can bear witness with the same Spirit within them. Kind of like how John the Baptist lept for joy inside Elizabeth's womb when Mary, mother of Jesus visited her.

It was obviously meant as a compliment. But these people saying it was the greatest compliment ever... Come on, people, it was a nice thing for a lady to say to her niece, but it was also pretty corny. What does it mean, exactly? If she'd wanted to compliment this girl's hair, would "You have Jesus in your hair" have made any sense? Would it be a nice compliment to say "I see Jesus in your figure"? What's wrong with "You have beautiful eyes"?

1. Your aunt knows you love Jesus
2. She probably sees you acting with kindness (although I see you have a bit of fire too!)
3. So when she sees a kind look in your eyes she relates it to Jesus.
Anyway, it's certainly a nice thing to hear.

Jesus didn't have a stay at home dad. Is there any correlation to your life? Anyways, if your aunt said it and she was talking about your eyes, then most likely it was a compliment.

It was meant as a compliment. However, try to just accept it as one, and don't look into it too deeply. You've probably already wasted enough of your life looking deeply into things that mean nothing.

She means that she sees you as a good person. As a good person, you shouldn't make comments like telling people to get out of this section if you don't like what they have to say.
