Christians often quote verses like:

"38But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."John 10:38

and ignore:

John 17:15-22

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. "

Interesting according to their logic they would be God too; what an interesting pagan fantasy.

Christians aren't God. We don't even think that.

One must read original Hebrew passages and study the Greek translation and how it was later translated into English. For translation alone, for any item, meanings can be lost. Strong's and a Greek dictionary are very useful as bible tools.

What most don't realize is, the word Elohim means G_D, but it almost means God like, Godly. And man is called Elohim at times. But when this gets translated, over, n over again, meaning is lost, changed, etc.

This is why no one should read the Bible and take it literal. For translation alone is needed let alone many words we define one way today, had a different definition then.

Just look at original English (olde English) compared to what we write today. Attempt to read olde English, you'll get a headache.
