god is not a man. i think he was portrayed as a man because at that time most the power-full people were men, so to portray got as power-full he was portrayed as a man.

God isnt a man. He is a spirit. Jesus Christ was God in man form if thats what you mean. There are three parts that make up God. The father, the son, and the holy spirit.
The father being God
The son being Jesus
The Holy Spirit being the spirit of Jesus that Jesus gave to us after he died for our sins.

I don't know if Yahweh is male or female, and quite frankly I don't care. The true God is Light. Light generally does not have genitals.

God is spirit....no gender....no sexuality. God just is. Only those in religions of the book (the big 3) allowed their history to be recorded.
