You see it on Easter most every year some Christians
take this to far and beat up people with their bible

You need to repent sinner I am going to judge and condemn
you is all they seem to know on Easter
Some people are way to extreme and religious to the bone
in every way shape and form

Yes go around your neighborhood and tell your neighbors
they are no good sinners and see what they tell you

Some christians should keep their nose where it belongs
attached to their face and keep their blabber closed on
Easter and leave others alone and let the Lord God
deal with them

What’s today? Does it really matter? Day after day, what’s different about them? Each morning you wake up, to find you are all alone. Each day you go about your life, to find that you are the only one who is alone. Each night you go home, to be alone, each night you go to bed to find no one if there waiting for you. What’s the point? Is there any hope left? Does anyone have the answers to all your questions? Why do I even care?
Well I will answer, today is the day that you excepted Christ as your Savior, so yes it matters. You are still here because God is not finished with you yet. Perhaps you fill alone right now but God will bless you with someone who loves you when he thinks the time is right. God, is the only one with all the answers so if you don’t have him in your life, you will never know all the answers to all your questions in life. As far for why I care, I hate seeing people un-happy. So there you have it, now you know what you should be doing, pick up your Bible and find the promises that God has for you.

If someone is not going to let rational argument influence their beliefs, what will? What might make them change their views? I'm thinking of religious belief, of course...

There is people who believe, how about you?

They can see the battle going on between Atheists and Christians and it's like they're waiting for Christians to lose just a little of their faith in what they've been brainwashed with and Atheists to pick up a little more faith (if that's possible) then the Muslim carion eaters swoop in to feast on the fallen and spread a little Islam.

(If you aren't willing to try to see this concept please don't answer)

Here's a thought experament for you:

Imagine you are born with a blank mental slate. Your body would still be influenced by your genes, but you weren't some ready made soul. You had wonderful energy from coming of the Earth, and possibilities, but that's all.

You grow up using your brain and surroundings to learn and to develope a "soul" Your soul then becomes unique and full. The more you interect with other people and help them, the more full you become spiritually, but your brain and body does limit you.

You die. There is no heaven, no paternal God figure (maybe forces, a creator, something, but not the God you'd think of).

You are now nothing but potential energy, floating around Nature. You have no mass, no image, no voice. You are just energy, and if your energy were to affect someone, they would feel whatever vibe you created with your soul during your life.

Your energy still existed and in a way..

I'm honestly interested, because I simply can't begin to understand how it works in a daily life.

You are supposed to love God more than anybody else. Which means you put God over your loved ones, your spouses, your children, your best friends, etc.

My girlfriend is a Christian, but she calls herself a Christian Light or Diet Christian. She believes in God, but she values life much more than anything. She will also never believe an atheist like me will end up in Hell.

(Please don't answer me with telling me she's not a 'true Christian'. With calling others 'not a true Christian', you are judging, and with that you automatically disqualify yourself as a True Christian)

Anyway, how does it work? How do you put God over your loved ones? And how do your loved ones feel about that?

What's so bad about believing in God? I mean, if you believe in God, and he doesn't actually exist, then nothing bad can happen. And if you believe in God and he does exist, then you get to live eternally with Him. Is this not a win win situation?

but a relationship with God? Do you feel that implies an arrogance? I see this all the time here. Also, when we atheists say that atheism isnt a religion, which is absolutely isn't, they jump all over us. I am not trying to cause trouble here. I hope that Christians can maybe see how their words might be doing their cause harm.

My wife Nermina is a wonderful women. However, we have an issue that continues to really haunt our relationship, and I hope you can offer a word or two that may help.

We have been married for 12 years and have 2 children, 8 & 5. Everything has gone really well for the most part. I think her being a native European has really helped her know how to be a real woman.

However, I was tempted by the devil 3 years ago, and a beautiful Korean co-worker led me into sin.

After two years, I broke Satin's grip and ended this sinful behavior.

My wife still struggles with forgiveness issues. Obviously, I apologized when I was caught. But I personally think that should cover it. What she is forgetting is that Jesus already paid the price for my sin. That is what the cross is all about.

I do realize that a lot of broads get upset easily, and can be emotional (just as gay men can be as well). However, how can I direct her to look at the bible and understand what's already been written on this topic?

Thanks and God Bless all of you!

. If you continue to insist I believe in Jesus, it is only fair I may ask of you to show just how strong your faith is. After all, you would be my “mentor” in Christ. I’m not a believer as of yet, but surely you are. Would you mind perhaps resurrecting a dead relative or walking on water?
