I have got a very big problem:

When I go to the bed in night to sleep I won´t be able to sleep till I bring some sexy thoughts in my mind. If I don´t then it takes 2-3 hours for me to sleep. How can I get rid of this problem? And, how can I get rid of sexy thoughts?

growing up i untill now i have faced everthing i could have never imagined, ive encountered every aspect of abuse and have lost many people to drug abuse and depression, however i find myself giving support to people who have suffered even though ive never had counselling, for me this is a great relief knowin im not the only one suffering, for the last few months ive met people, one person a total stranger whos changed my life without even realising it,and now im helping someone change there life, infact ive helped a few.im not special,i work a 9-5 which is not what i want to do.. i really feel we meet people for a reason, whatever it may be and these people help us see things alot clearer, just by talking to someone you can save lives without even realising, its happened to me and its continuing in my life,,i feel ,i think this is a great gift not ever1 has, some might even call these people angels what do you think..do you think its fate how we encounter people

Earlier on today I saw an answer to another question given by a Bahai stating that the Christian religion was dead by the 7th century! Is this generally believed by all Bahais? If it's dead, then how do explain the reformation, Luther, Calvin, Wesley, Knox? How do you explain the Penetcostal movement? The thousands being healed for example in John Alexander Dowies ministry? Thousands of lifes changed in David Wilkerson's or Jackie Pullinger's ministry? My own ancestors having gone into persecution and fled France (je suis hugenot)? If Muhammad was the promised comforter, then why does the Bible say that the Holy Ghost was/is that comforter? He came "not many days hence". Finally, how do you explain my own Pentecostal experience? I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with it I received a gift and power (power to live my life, I might be dead if I didn't). Is it because God just wants me as a Christian or would he want me to change to your religion? I'm not asking to mock.

I just want to know the reason from Ravana's side. Please don't simply say surpanakai. I believe there will be much more important reasons behind this.

Why is the strongest thing most religious people believe in something that can't be literally seen as a tangible presence or touched as a tangible presence? Why are people willing to believe in the unseen and untouchable and yet not believe in the science of things that are touchable such as fossils?

I have heard that when Jesus came, he basically wiped the slate clean and set the new law. But the Ten Commandments still stand, right, and they were part of the OT. In addition, doesn't this excerpt show that the old ways are NOT to be thrown out....

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." Matthew 5:17-18

So, my question is, why does Christianity still employ the 10 Commandments, yet disregard the other parts of the OT, especially the violent and immoral parts (i.e. God killing children, punishment for working on the Sabbath is death, etc.)? And why are these things disregarded if Jesus said no law shall fail?

This is not meant to offend, but to understand better. Thanks.

when you read the word "stumble" in the Bible what do you take that to mean -
my opinion is that it is similar but not equal to sin - we do the wrong thing we sin
we fall away from God we stumble - I take stumble to be a more broad meaning of sin not something specific that someone might do
what do you think

I wish to consider the old and new testament separately here, though the books contained therein might be considered together.
I'm just curious as to when it first got committed to the written form, as before that it can only have been passed by word of mouth...... and we all know how reliable THAT is... don't we? For that matter I also know they used to brew beer in the middle east back then..... not that it has anything to do with the topic at hand, mind you....
