Have you ever met a pure hearted person that likes to be worshiped? What god wants is for people to practice and understand peace and compassion. Worshiping is one step away from brown nosing.

Worshipping God makes you more available to help others.

No actually worship is for us. It is good for us to show gratitude for our Creator and Savior. It opens a channel for blessing and power to come from God to us also.
