007.157 "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." (QURAN)

-If Muhammad (pbuh) isn't/wasn't mentioned in the bible,do you think he would dare to say that, everone would know he is lying.

I went to the web site and the claim to be biblically accurate and that they ran it by all these scholars, etc. Matthew 2:1 clearly states the wise men did not go to Bethlehem. They went to Nazareth, to Joseph's home...not the stable with the manger and newborn Christ. Only a sheppard sent by an angel visited them there. I fear American's believe the CROWD rather than reading for themselves.

Why do christians keep bothering us about going to heaven. What if we don't want to go to heaven or hell. what if we just want to lay in our graves and be happy just resting in peace? ever think people could actually be happy, honestly happy, just being dead.

God (or Gods depending on your belief) is the creator, and by definition known as God because of this. Now, Man is getting close to creating life, through cloning, celular maniplulation etc, does this mean that Man is becoming God. And could this be one of the reasons that there are fewer followers of all religions now?

I've heard it said that time is not the same to God as it is to man. If God created the world in 7 days, who's to say how long His 'days' were? Perhaps the evolutionary process was God's creation? What do you think?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb and ready to meet Jesus?

I am........

According to www.aish.com, "In many respects, the Oral Torah is more important than the Written Torah. ... We thus speak of two Torahs. There is the Written Torah (Torah SheBiKetav) and the Oral Torah (Torah SheB'Al Peh). Both are alluded to in God's statement to Moses, "Come up to Me to the mountain, and I will give you... the Torah and the commandments" (Exodus 24:12). ...The Written Torah cannot be understood without the oral tradition. Hence, if anything, the Oral Torah is the more important of the two." Aish.com then gives several convincing examples of occasions where God may have authorized oral tradition to supplement His Law: Deut. 12:21, Jer. 17:22 & Ecc. 12:12.

Yet, there is no evidence given to support God authorized the Jews to establish oral tradition interpreting what is (or is not) Messianic prophecy. So my question is, what authority gives preeminence to oral tradition over the Bible where Messianic prophecy is concerned?

"I am amazed at your state. The skies are irradiant because of you, but you have ceased to be. How long will you lead a life of ignorance and degradation? It was from you that the world received its mental and spiritual illumination. You served as a minaret of light during the dark night of the past. The 'luminous hand' (of Moses) was present in your sleeve. But, today, you have shut yourself up in a narrow shell and seem to have forgotten that you can break it. You were present before the world was created and will remain after it has ended. You are afraid of death while death itself should be afraid of you. Death is not lying in wait for you but it is the other way round. Man does not die with departing of the soul. He dies when faith goes out of him and belief deserts his heart."

I mean be open and transparent, this is what we need honesty, and God said if we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins. I struggle with fornication. I can feel as if I'm free from it and soon as temptation comes, I find myself engaging in it. I've been praying about this, but I don't know if I'm praying to God sincerely with it. People think Christians are some out of this world people, we're no better than anybody else. The only thing we know a savior that washes us clean and white as snow. So body of Christ what's your struggles?

When I say "anybody else", of course I don't mean _I_ do it, but I, um, oh yeah, I heard some other kids talking about how they did it and I just wondered...

Actually I just did it as an experiment because I assumed YH wouldn't let me, but it did. See what happens when you make assumptions?

We struggle hard in our lives to earn money, fame, power and every thing but ultimateltly it's all an exercise in futility. We die leaving everything here never to return. Why not live a very ordinary life wthout any hassle and wait for Mr. Death to come and welcome him. Can anybody elaborate?

Shouldn't all the true christians be celebrating like the deceased won the lottery ? It seems so selfish to mourn and mope around - you're only thinking of yourselves. Why not have a celebration of their life and be happy for them ?
