Why do christians keep bothering us about going to heaven. What if we don't want to go to heaven or hell. what if we just want to lay in our graves and be happy just resting in peace? ever think people could actually be happy, honestly happy, just being dead.

first, i would like to say that i am a christian, second i would like you to know that we as a people are not trying to bother you but are trying to help you. if you truly long to be happy after death you must go to heaven. because what so many people dont realize is that we dont have a choice in that matter. God gave us free will here on earth so we could have a choice between heaven and hell. and we all must face judgment one day there is no way of hiding in the ground from it. Christians are trying to help the world to go to heaven. and me personally i admit i can get a little preachy but i try not to push people into it, its just i care about everyone and i want them all to go to heaven. as do i want you there beside us in heaven.

I understand that christians sometimes are too pushy. The bible tells us not to do that, but to be kind and gentle and to have an answer for the hope that lies within us. At the same time, try to understand. If you have children you will want what's best for them. Will you keep your help and advice from them because they don't want to hear it? Hopefully not. Because you believe that you can protect them and guide them which way to go. It's not much different. Is it so bad for me to want my friend to go to heaven? If there is nothing, no heaven, no hell, then I would be living my life with too many regrets.

You don't have a choice of laying in the ground you either gave you life to Jesus and get that one way ticket to Heaven or you did not feel like talking to Jesus and now you got that ticket to Hell. The choice of Heaven or Hell is yours

They are bossy and not content to keep their beliefs to themselves as they should. Dad once said, "Son, you cannot go to Heaven, if you...!" I retorted, "I would not want to go to such a grim place even if it did exist. According to you, there are just two different Hells. Anything that is fun is a sin puritans say. You do worse things than what you criticize me for doing anyhow, so if there was a Hell, you'd be there before I was. Luckily for such people as you, Heaven and Hell are imaginary."

I don't have a ticket to heaven, and I'm very content with that.

I do however have the hope of living forever on a paradise earth once all the wickedness is removed. (Psalms 37:9-11)

I would think that any reasonable person would want to be prepared for eternity. If you don't want Christ in your life, that's your business. But, WE believe that the souls lives beyond this life; being eternal, and we want to encourage other people to be ready for that
See, if we are right and don't say anything, I think that would be cruel. I've got a good thing with God. I'm excited about it and want others to know about it it And there are those who are also searching. I won't know who they are if I don't speak up

hehe good one Tabby. Why can't they just let us rest in peace. We can call a truce? Last year in December I was prepared to die on the table. I was not thinking of a christian god at the time. That is blasphemy. May I repent please?

Let this god put an end to suffering here and now. Not later or after death. Here and farking now then I will be convinced of the god.

Jesus came to this world to save sinners from the punishment to come that we deserve , eternal damnation. I don't want to see you suffer forever for rejecting God. He is giving you a chance to get a "Free ticket to heaven " only if you want it . Do you ? Eternal happiness or eternal suffering . "For who soever call on the name of the Lord shall be saved " Romans 10:13

Your body may lay in the ground but there is life on the other side as well. I have seen spirits ..orbs..energy forces..I have seen the spirit of my poodle who passed, people have heard his bark when we were all sitting at a table to eat dinner, I have seen spirits in my home..life goes on..just not as we know it..resting in the ground is actually quite dull and boring lol,,,

The Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) has a word for the experience of death: Sheol. They understood it to be a place of gloom. This is why King Hezekiah prayer so fervently for the extension of his life, because life is so much better. God is a God who gives life, and the greatness of his creation and the truth of the resurrection of Jesus shows that His offer of eternal life is authentic. You would be much happier with life forever than with gloom forever.
